Halo sucks?

Is it just me or does halo suck.i think its the most overhyped game ever.The graphics are ok and the gameplay is just average nothing i haven't seen befor.

Halo is only pretty decent in my opinion and I think Killzone is better. I have played both and i cant get into halo but Killzone is actually captivating. If you have a 360 or XBOX i'm not surprised. It certainly shouldnt be rated a 9.4 on ign and gamespot if killzone is only rated 7.0 - thats bulls*** but everyone is entitled to their opinion.

I'd rate it like a 7.9, and I'm not a PS2/PS3 fanboy either

I personally enjoy my gears of war better. The first Halo was much better than the second IMO. The second was still very good though.

Unreal TOurnament, GRAW2 and Goldeneye are in my opinion the best fps of all time but sadly i never played GOW. My brother bought it and never lett me play.

I have never been a fan of Halo, never thought it was that great. The only games I play often are half-life mods like Day of Defeat and Counter Strike and I haven't really played them more than maybe a couple times a month for the past year. I'm not into gaming that much anymore, I play GoW co-op with my brother sometimes and FNR3, but thats about it on a regular basis. The last game I played was Tekken 5 & Soul Caliber (3?) at a party the other night before everyone showed up. I am proud to say that I beat people who actually play the game often by pressing buttons and getting ring-outs in Soul Caliber :D

Maybe not the best FPS, but the most fun I have had with an FPS is definitely playing Day of Defeat before it switched over to steam, good times. I hate steam... Note* DoD:Source and CS:Source can lick my butt because they suck compared to the 1.3/1.6 versions. Gordon Freeman is the best game person ever also.

when i play tekken and VF5 for PS3, i actually try to be fancy and make my wins look nice instead of button mashing and pressing circle like 50 times. i still managa to win though with Shun Di (Virtua Fighter) and Yoshimitsu or Lei in tekken.

I have a couple friends whose lives are dedicated to that when they have nothing to do, they honestly can't watch TV or play any other games or talk on MSN, they are either partying, eating, sleeping, at school or on Garys Mod. I don't understand the fascination of it.

Halo one was one of my favorite games, Halo 2 was way OVER HYPED IMO, decent , but not a game of the year type of game, also M$ banned me for a modded Zboz when it came out :(

yes i hate the game, ill unload a whole ammo clip on a guy, he doesnt die then he turns around jumps in the air and gets me with 1 shot. The game sucks i would much rather play a more realistic game like Call of Duty.

i agree. the first halo had an amazing feel to it that i could play for years. every day i would play it with who ever was over for hours.

the second one was ok not amazing. the story mode did not play the same as the first one. and the multiplayer has a huge flaw in my book. in the first one i considered almost all the weapons to be the same strength. the second was too complex imo.

and Halo CE was an amazing looking game that no one ever saw. it kept the halo 1 game play and added amazing graphics and some new mp options. possibly the best one of all if i could use a controller on it, i prefer the controller.

Same here. I played, and played, and played some more. I learned every strategy. I learned every glitch, like XXY, double melee, weapon nade launching, respawn timing, quick camo, etcetera.

Funny, I did the same thing. Had Halo 1 on the PC, I loved it, played it every day, so amazing. So I thought to myself, "Damn, imagine the sequel of this game on a system console!" Bought and Xbox and Halo 2 while I already had PS2. Very big mistake.

I knew that was gonna be the first thing brought up and you know what I agree that they shouldnt have changed it. But in the end that should have very little impact on why 1's better than 2. Don't forget that they also added guns and made improvements on already existing ones.

a) the screen. put Halo on one tv and Halo 2 on another beside it, and Halo looks more inviting. Don't know why, it just does...

b) Multiplayer. Even though Halo lacked live, playing it on XBC was INFINITELY better than playing Halo 2 on live. LAN parties were the best of all.

c) Pistol. See above.

d) Single player. Who the **** wants to be an elite? Also, the storyline was weaker/not as fun.

e) light sword. ***.***.***.
