Skip Bayless comes across as just an arrogant ass, but his credentials run a long list. He's written 3 books in the early-to-mid-90's about Jerry Jones, Tom Landry, and the Cowboys. He's been everywhere as a columnist too, winning awards and even being the highest paid sports columnist in America for a time.

Read his bio. From where he's been to where he is, is pretty respectable. Sometimes he makes seemingly crazy statements, but I value his opinion much more than I ever thought I would.

Bayless has been the highest paid sports columnist in the past, and has only expanded his product over the past 18-20 years. With 3 books, and a consistent TV spot, I highly doubt he's taking stances solely to be controversial. Believe it or not, his credentials and sports knowledge run a long list.

Exactly! Of course this line isn't great, on paper it's good, but not great. And that could change this season. They could play great, good or meh.

As an analyst, technically, Dukes is right in that the Rams Oline underpeformed last season. Great potential, but have yet to put it together on the field.
And a rookie may have upside, but Gilyard is still unproven as a pro. I'm speaking hypothetically, Gilyard IMO is one of the most pro ready WRs from this draft.

I defer to Dukes opinion on Olineman, even if I don't wholeheartedly agree with him because he played the position for a decade in the NFL.
Same thing when Trent DIlfer criticizes a QB's play or Mike Mayock gives his breakdown on a defensive back.

I agree that St. Louis is lacking a full stable of playmakers on the offensive side of the ball.

The Rams like all top drafting teams have many areas of need. Its impossible to fill everyone in a single draft. It really annoys me when a team does a good job of getting players at need positions and someone says they did a bad job because they didn't get anyone for other need positions.
