64 Tampa Bay Buccaneers - Sabby Piscatelli SS Oregon State 6-3 226 Sr.
68 Tampa Bay Buccaneers - Tanard Jackson CB/FS Syracuse 6-1 193 Sr.

Ugh...where do I begin....

Tyler is a NT, we need a UT. Piscitelli is a WLB IMO, we don't need one. We need a DE a lot more badly. We don't need a CB this year, so give us a C or RT instead of Jackson.

I like the Titans draft. I will never complain about Meachem (or Bowe either one for that matter) in round 1.

I think Harrell is a fine pick in round 2, though I think I would take Abiamiri since he's still on the board.

And I like Irons in the 3rd, but I'm not sure how other Titans fan would react to the pick.

51 New York Giants - Stewert Bradley OLB Nebraska 6-4 250 Sr.
81 New York Giants - Paul Williams WR Fresno State 6-2 210 Sr.

Give us in 2nd instead of Bradley: Victor Abiamiri, DE/OLB Notre Dame 6-4 260 Sr. or
Justin Blalock, OG/OT Texas 6-4 329 Sr.

Wouls much rather have Reggie Nelson at 24 than Joe Staley. If we were to take a safety at 24 give us a ILB or CB at 28. Pitman is a decent third rounder but with Siler available he would be the ideal pick.

its a really good giants mock

i love the 1st 2 rounders
the 3rd is ok but i think with some of those players like hughes, wade, yanda, kareem brown, or booker on the board WR can wait- but thats me persoanlly, many giants fans r big advocates of getting a WR 1st day so overall its a great giants mock

if I were the Falcons in this situation, and we moved Jimmy Williams to S then I'd get
Round 1: Jamaal Anderson
Round 2: Justin Blalock
Round 3: Daymeion Hughes

If we kept Jimmy Williams at CB then I'd pick
Round 1: Jamaal Anderson
Round 2: Eric Weddle
Round 3: Josh Beekman or Marshal Yanda

This was done under the assumption Williams will be moved to safty. Wright could be a huge steal there and is more like a DeAngelo Hall type CB.

The Eagles do need help at safety, but it is needed in the SS spot than FS. Nelson is a great FS, but we have Dawkins and his replacement in Considine. Nelson would not fit well in our defense anyway. Even though Griffin is listed by most sites as a FS, he has the size and potential to be a SS, he would be a better pick for the Eagles in this situation than Nelson. The Eagles may go offense in the second round with either Leonard or Patrick, but ILB is a need as well. In the third, Anthony Waters would be a good pick for the Eagles. He is capable of playing any LB postion, and we need help in our LB corp.

9 Miami Dolphins - Levi Brown OT Penn State 6-5 324 Sr.
40 Miami Dolphins - Jason Hill WR Washington State 6-0 210 Sr.
60 Miami Dolphins - H.B. Blades ILB Pittsburgh 6-0 240 Sr.
71 Miami Dolphins - David Irons CB Auburn 6-1 188 Sr.

Pretty bad Dolphins draft. Numerous local Miami papers are reporting that they don't think Levi Brown is a good prospect and that they would rather trdae down in the 1st to draft Joe Staley instead. It's been all over for the past week and I'll find you a link if youd like. Jamaal Anderson has too much value to pass on as we have lost Kevin Carter, Jeff Zgonina and David Bowens who all played DE for us at times last season.

A WR is solid in early round two and while I like Jason Hill. There's no way he goes ahead of Sidney Rice. Rice is considered a much better prospect and will be drafted higher. Give us Rice and drop Hill a few spots.

H.B. Blades is not a need at all. The Joey Porter signing allows us to move Channing Crowder inside next to Zach Thomas so Blades really makes no sense there. Plus we already have a steadly backup in Derrick Pope. Blades is more of a 4-3 LB anyways and we run a 3-4.

I seriously doubt David Irons goes during day 1. He will be 26 years old as a rookie. Teams are not gonna wanna spend a solid day 1 pick on such an old rookie. Especially a team like the Dolphins that are already old on defense and need to get younger. Plus is he really an upgrade over Andre Goodman, Will Allen or Travis Daniels? I don't think he'd help us out much. We need a shut down CB. Not another depth CB and especially not an older one. Tony Ugoh, Trent Edwards, Ben Patrick all make more sense and are bigger needs at that spot. And even Kenny Irons or Tony Hunt would be better picks if Ricky gets dealt. And if you are going to give us a CB. Give us a young potential filled guy like Daymeion Hughes or Jonathan Wade. Not an older rookie with limited upside like David Irons. Irons is likely to get picked by a team making playoff/championship pushes and need a steady immediate impact form their 3rd rounder. Not a team that is rebuilding and trying to get younger on defense.

that is absolutely the best patriots mock i have seen yet. i could see them suprising some people taking staley in the first (although i think they'd take staley with the second first and griffin with 24). And then nabbing Antonio Pittman in the 3rd to team with Maroney...oowee good job, darnik.

I thought the Bears mock was terrible.

Miller way too high in the 2nd.

Beason over Timmons.. And I doubt JA goes LB in the 1st unless Briggs is traded for a 1st.

great 1st and 2nd round picks. although it would ad depth at qb, i don't really like the trent edwards pick in the 3rd especially with tony ugoh, ben patrick, daymeion hughes, and brandon siler still on the board.

21 Denver Broncos - Brandon Meriweather FS/CB Miami
56 Denver Broncos - Tim Crowder DE Texas
70 Denver Broncos - Quinn Pitcock DT Ohio State
86 Denver Broncos - Jacoby Jones WR Lane College

Hmm...

I like Meriweather - he's the kind of ballhawk / hitter we need at safety.

Both Crowder and Pitcock are solid players, but I'm not sure how well they would fit into Jim Bates' defensive scheme. Neither one will provide a big boost to the pass rush, which was Denver's biggest problem last year. Of the two, I think Crowder might have a better chance of being successful in Denver.

I don't like Jones in the 3rd. Seems like a reach. There are other WRs available here who actually played against real opposition.
