Hopefully this is just Killer being Killer. Still, what a nightmare if true.

He just bought 160 iPads for the Nebraska football program. They are installed in the lockers and meant for messages between the coaching staff and players.

People mentioned he had the same agent as Crabtree but many dismissed any problems because of his character. He needs to be in camp.

A lot of people predicted that Suh would be the first 1st round pick to sign while Dez Bryant would be the last. Now it very well could end up the complete opposite.

Eugene Parker denies the rumors of asking for more money then Sam Bradford.

Bradford got 50 mil
Stafford got 41 mil

At #3 Gerald McCoy signed a deal for 35mil

I really think Eugene Parker is ******* this up. The guys slotted before and behind Suh have signed and the guideline for a deal is there. The Bradford/Stafford contracts are slightly bumped up because of the QB premium as well. I highly doubt the Lions are lowballing him and we didn't have a problem getting Stafford in camp. Eugene Parker is a *****.

I think Suh wants 44-47 mil and we don't want to give him more than Stafford.

Stafford got 41 million
Smith got 33 million
Jackson got 31

So Bradford got 24% more.
McCoy got like 13/4% more.

Suh said he wanted to be in camp on time.

If Suh signed for the same 41 mil as Stafford, he is in that 24% area.

I'm saying he should be in that 16-18 percentage range. No way should he be getting more than Stafford.

Look at how steep a drop off there is from Qb to even LT.

I think a bigger question here is why the **** does the guaranteed money go up nearly 1/4th in a year for the #1 overall pick?

Because owners and general managers would rather get raped by players agents than stand up to them. If the teams stood up and refused to meet these ridiculous demands, then we wouldn't need a rookie slotting system. However, with the enormous pressure to "win now" they would rather throw millions upon millions of dollars upon these guys to avoid a holdout.

Day 3 of holdout

This whole situation is pissing me off. Bradford got a 6-year, $78 million deal with $50 million guaranteed. McCoy got a 5-year, $63 million with $35 million guaranteed which comes out to $75.6 million with $42 million guaranteed over six years. Suh's deal should be six years, $76.8 million with $46 million guaranteed. That's a "fair" contract relative to the current system.

It's time to sign on the dotted line, big Suh. You're way better than this.

I'm so sick of Tom Kowalski doing nothing but eat donuts. Why can't we get someone that actually gets some info?

I know you're not being serious, but I'd have no interest in making a player the highest paid at his position while he still has three years on a deal that held out to get.

hold on a minute.

The two sides have agreed on the terms of the deal, but still are signing off on the language of it. The deal will not be signed until the language is completed.

Its no coincidence that Brett Favre retirement rumours started on the same day Suh agreed on a deal. :)
