OT Marcus Cannon, TCU
6'6 - 350 lbs. - Senior

No highlights :(

Another offensive lineman I really like. Mammoth of a man, I'd love him as a RT for Pitt. Maybe as a guard as well, in fact many people have him slated as kicking inside to guard, similar to what John Jerry is doing, I believe.

In any case, I really like this guy, and from what I understand he's a 3-5 round prospect right now.

My biggest question would be can he move well enough. Im sure he could swallow anyone, but can he move, is he light enough on his feet with such a huge body.

Marcus Cannon isn't just a big body, he's got good feet for a man his size. I think his best fit is on a power running team, like Pittsburg, where he can really use his size to his advantage. Should play on the right side at guard or tackle, wouldn't feel comfortable leaving him on an island against a speed rusher on third and long.

I thought you were doing the top players first? Where is Ingram,Ryan Williams.Dareus?

Cannon will probably kick inside to guard and I'm thinking he won't make it out of the 3rd because someone is going to love his ability to help the running attack

the guy used to be a lifeguard and he can do a double back flip at 350 pounds... hes a freak that will be better than bruce campbell

When I watch him play I am reminded of Shawn Andrews when he was at Arkansas.

He could play RT or any OG spot and simply put is an absolut BULL that is athletic enough to hold his own against speed.

I would not be shocked if he was a 1st round pick when it is all said and done. These guys that can be dominant RTs and OGs are getting way more love.

I would take him over the much rawer Iupati.

Really do like him at RG in the NFL like John Jerry. Work ethic and commitment are some questions that will come up as I've been told his weight has ballooned up to 380 at times.

Scott and the guys at ESPN have this guy as a top 20 or 30 player.

Is he going to be this years top 20 interior lineman?

That size is ridiculous and it looks like he looks like John Jerry carrying 350lbs. well.

I've never seen him play, but I would imagine that he's not effective at pulling. If so, that's a huge red flag because it limits running play options.

Agreed which is why i would keep him at RT. Also i think he has the feet for it. i would love to see SD get him at RT. He'd be quite a helper for Ryan Mathews and our power running game (Something Norv like so run alot).

But as for him being like John Jerry, didn't Jerry weigh in at 320 or so at the combine. But this dude is simply MASSIVE and somehow carries all 360 lbs of himself very well (it feels funny to say that)

ok thank very much

It took you a year and a new username to come up with that? Sharpo = Not very sharp. What's your point? For anyone interested. Cannon is recovering well. Symptom free. On the Patriots inactive reserve, I think they'll just put him on the IR since Brian Waters is playing very well at RG.
