I can't wait to see our first rookie QB get rocked by the defense .It should be an interesting game tonight to see how well Clausen will do .We should get to see him a lot and some of other rookies draft by Carolina and Buffalo.I'm also anxious to see how Spiller does as well. Should be a good game compared to Monday's night game in Dallas . just about 90 mins to kick off !

I think Clausen may actually tear up our secondary. Lardarius Webb, Fabian Washington and Ed Reed are all out. Travis Fisher is likely to be our #1 guy. However, our front 7 should give him a hard time.

Looking forward to a lot of things, Terrence Cody, Anquan Boldin and Donte Stallworth, Jalen Parmele in the KR game, how our punt returners do, Cundiff vs. Graham.

so pumped!!

I can only watch a little bit, since I have to work. I should be able to see a little bit of Clausen out there, at least.

I wish I could just stay home and watch the Cowboy's game. :(

Still an impressive series for Clausen. You dont typically see rookies, making accurate audible calls and calling out blitzers like he was just doing. Jimmy is going to be just fine.

ha. He's used his eyes more in that one series, then Stephen Mcgee did all game for Dallas. :/

As it should, if you dont like him. But I still cant see the hate here, the guy is so advanced already. It takes more then great intangibles, but I think Clausen has that "it" factor and he def. appears much more ready for this then the majority of rookies.

2 out of 3 were coverage sacks. O-line is giving him time, but the receivers need to get there ass in gear.

He went into pure beast mode, i watched him almost every play the man made some noise and i think he had 2-3 sacks with 2 of them on back to back plays. teams are gonna regret passing on him, i know it was only one preseason game but he showed some things that had us all thinking first round lock a few years ago

The Panthers might come out of this draft the overall winners even without a 1st round pick! Yeah it's only preseason but I had a feeling Hardy was going to prove himself at the next level. We'll see if he continues to do so. I remember some dude last year getting like 7 sacks in preseason and I don't think he's even in the NFL anymore.

One of my friends is a diehard Carolina Panthers fan, but he's not sold on Matt Moore in the slightest. I had to put up with him coming out with the stupidest lines all night long about how Clausen is the future and that Moore needed to be cut.

"The offensive line is holding to make Matt Moore look bad, they want Jimmy Clausen to start."

"The offense is so excited that Jimmy is on the field that they can't help but false start. They want him to be their starter"

yeah well this is from the same guy that LOVES tebow and didnt like clausen as a prospect and tore him apart over 1 of his 4 interceptions last year while jimmy pretended to take notes.

Gruden told jimmy ONLY MAKE GOOD DECISIONS, and jimmy wrote it down.

I can see it now, when eli throws a pick he gets real sad, when peyton throws a pick he gets real pissed, when favre throws a pick he goes and tallies it....when clause throws one hes gonna run to the sidelines and be like "WHERES MY GRUDEN NOTES" and he'll read them and be like "DAMN thats what i didnt wrong"

gruden is an ass

Jimmy was definitely looking a little gimpy still last night, which I presume is a result of the turf toe he suffered against Michigan State. That plus his tendency to hold the ball real low and close to his body would make me nervous if I were a Carolina fan, but the couple audibles he made were encouraging.
