It is a good chance to take if you are the 49ers. He gives you someone who can spell Frank Gore, who hasn't had a complete season in four years.

Great signing by the 9ers.

I like it. He'll be asked to touch the ball maybe a handful of times a game.

Smart move by SF.

On a side note, NO signed Ladell Betts a guy I liked a lot in washington.

O-Line is space creator for RBs on paper.

That is what he needs and I think he will motion to slot WR a few plays.

Well as most people can obviously tell he's well past his prime. I think he still has a little left in the tank though assuming he can avoid the injury bug (BIG assumption) and he fits perfectly in the WCO. I think he should have came off the market before LT did.

So SF officially has the most injury prone backfield in the league now right?

Good signing, especially if he stays healthy!

To be fair, Frank Gore gets alot more flack in that department than is deserved. He has only missed 6 games in 5 seasons.

I like the signing for the 49ers. if he stays healthy, he'll be a very good compliment to Frank Gore.

Good for him, glad he caught on somewhere. Now they better keep him safe out there. I don't want to see one of my favorite Eagles end up a vegetable.
