For Green Bay I would prefer Nelson or Ginn before Hall b/c at best Hall would be the 3rd CB for the next 3 or 4 years

The Eagles would probably pick Poz in this situation, we don't need another situational pass rusher.

Saints take Charles Johnson or Dwayne Bowe before Poz.

Pats don't take either guy ! Ginn is gutless and we have the best d-line in football.

Ginn=Hester return ability if not better

If you have the best D-Line alreayd why not add to it?

Horrible, horrible Pats draft i'm afraid. No need at WR in 1st round, might look at a WR in a middle round round though. Any two from ILB, CB or S in the first round I hope.

Ginn = Hester : So what ? you don't fill a luxury in round 1 unless you have a team with no holes and great depth. the patriots invested in Welker b/c he will do for them in the return game just what they wish. Smart decisions, no dumb turnovers, faircatch it when you should, let it role when you should.

Regarding adding to the d-line: same as above . You have depth issues at other spots that are glaring. If the lineman in question were to be light years better than the guy they were to choose to fill say a lb or safety spot, THEN that makes sense. The pats go 5 deep on the line with impact players and have a kid who they took round 2 a few years ago ( Marquise Hill .lsu) who they will be pushing to contribute or move out. D-line is not an area of focus.

As far as the Ginn pick goes, we had an outstanding return unit last season. We added Donte Stallworth and Wes Welker, who are both great return men and receivers. I love Ginn but we have more pressing needs. Give us DB/ILB there.

For the Charles Johnson pick, he looks like a 4-3 DE prospect. We run a 3-4. Plus we already have an arguably elite (and still all young) starting DL with solid and versatile backups (all young players) such as Jarvis Green, Mike Wright, and LeKevin Smith. If you Johnson as a 3-4 OLB, which most people do not, we already have Adailus Thomas and Roosevelt Colvin as starters. Vrabel can play there if one of them goes down. We also have young backups like Pierre Woods and Eric Alexander. Give us an ILB/DB there as well.
