I need to buy some new cologne and I want something different. Not looking to break the bank, but I figured I would come to the expertise of the numerous men on here to give some suggestions. I was always a Curve guy so it is time to switch it up!

The $50+ you have to spend on a bottle of cologne is definitely worth it. My personal favorite right now is Chanel Allure Sport. I would also suggest avoiding Aqua di Gio as way way way too many people own it. Bottles that I own:

Granted I'm a smoker so I usually don't smell like my cologne even when I do opt to rock it.

Polo Blue
jean paul gaultier Le Male, there are variations to it, but the best one is the one in a blue bottle with white stripes.

both are not strong and last throughout the day. Also its not overpowering, so when girls walk by they get a slight hint of it, and have to get closer to you to get a better wiff. This is very true for Jean Paul.

Both bottles are 60-45 dollars, for a decent size bottle, like 2 or 3 oz bottle.

Abercrombie & Fitch clothes are way overpriced, but I quite like their cologne. Cologne 41 is what I was using before the Polo Black.

I get colognes twice a year from people who don't know what to give me as a gift on Christmas or my birthday (mainly my grandparents lol), so I've had my fair share of experience with them, and if I had to suggest one, it would be Le Male by Jean Paul Gaultier. It's more of a sweet smelling cologne (smells kind of like vanilla, nothing fruity or berry-smelling), but I really like the scent and just like other scents, the girls really like it :).

Also, the smell is kind of strong, so you don't need to wear a lot of it, which in turn makes it last longer.

The bottle's shape is the torso of a man, and it's apparently a top rated cologne at Macy's.

Aqua De Gio that is another one that is good. I don't own it, but smells good and plenty of people say good things about it. Check it out.

Buy Abercrombie cologne. Spray at least 10-15 sprays everywhere on your body, think cologne shower. Go to movies. Pick up all the 16 year olds your heart can desire.

Effective range of cologne appears to be about 75-100ft, radius, from my adventures to the mall.

it really depends on the season and occasion. there are light fragrances and muskier ones. i wish i could pull off a musky cologne but it's just not me. i use lacoste essential which is pretty light and summery. but it wouldn't work too well using a light and sweet cologne on a cold winter night. something bolder and stronger for the winter time.

Calvin Klein is great stuff, I personally love ONE and BE. Lot of people love CK Eternity and Aqua as well.

I also recommend Lacoste.

Amazon has it for 60 a bottle. Not sure if that's good or not. Although if you look like the guy in the Fierce ads, you could just go semi-shirtless without cologne and girls will probably think your cologne is great.

Used to have a bottle of that, was a great smell but agree that a lot of people own it. Code is another great one from Armani.

The key with cologne is to buy one that suits your natural smell and personality though, get one of the girls selling it to help you out, put it on and walk around for 10 minutes and see if the smell lasts and still smells good.

Armani Code is really good, i liked it a lot. This one version of Hugo Boss that comes in a green box, the cologne is like a light blue color, that one i've bought at least four times, it's amazing. I'm currently using Very Sexy by Victoria's Secret, and the bitches love that ****. Most women compliment me on this one cologne.
