Hmmm... this is coming more out of question/astonishment rather than hate jealousy or whatever.

I have a simple question.

After losing 10-7 to Mississippi State... why did Florida receive two votes in the AP poll?

Some times the mid-bottom SEC teams are given more credit than they should just for being SEC teams, but you can't argue with the conference's recent success and the power at the top. Bama, Florida, LSU, Auburn, and UGA have been ranked #1 in the last 3 years with Ole Miss, Arkansas, Tennessee, and South Carolina also being in the top 10 with the rest all being in the top 25 at some point recently.

I'm an Ole Miss homer but I admit SEC fanboys can be annoying, but it is hard to deny the SEC's success.

Mississippi State is 6-2. There only losses were to Auburn and LSU. Florida is 4-3 and loaded with talent, even if they're not playing well. Nevada got the most votes of non-ranked teams. Would you take Nevada over Florida if they played?

There's a lot of anti-SEC bias too, by the way.

Maybe by message board people out west, but not by anyone with any power or money.
