It seems like one third of my school has gone to KU after graduating. And having been to KU, I wouldn't really call it anything near "Ivy league" lol. Its a "big" party school and there is a lot of crime (weird crime) there.

But plenty of Amish and sy/cornfields, that's for sure.

That's a step up from my high school where 80% go to the community college I'm currently attending haha. It's pretty sad when I can see everyone from the smartest kid in my math class Sophomore year to people that probably never got above a 2.0 GPA in high school all in the same college. And before anyone gets on me about going to community college, I'm taking a major where a portfolio is required to get into any decent college and most people have go to CC first to build their portfolio.

Yeah I recently saw that on NFL Network. Deion's reaction to the word "Kutztown" was classic. I also recently found out that Chuck Bednarik is from Bethlehem and went to my high school's rival (Liberty). I thought that was pretty cool haha.

That's how it was at my school. About 75% of them went to LCCC (basically everybody who didn't go to PSU/Temple/or whatever college they wanted to) and now the ones who have graduated from LCCC have moved on to otyher schools, most of them choosing KU.

I was playing Madden in Franchise mode once and there was a top ranked CB from Kutztown. Of course I had to have him. Turned out to be one of the better CBs in that franchise. Didn't Deion mispronounce Kutztown, too? I think I saw that...

I had known about Chuck Bednarik for a while, since I can remember actually, mostly because my grandfather always talked about him whenever the subject of old time football was brought up.

How about how well Dan Persa is doing at Northwestern? I'm slowly beginning to think he has a VERY good shot at being drafted.

Yeah, I almost mentioned Persa. I was a Freshman when he was still at Liberty and I attended the Freedom-Liberty game that year. He was a beast, and I actually didn't even really care that he was raping my school because I actually disliked more people on my school's football team than I liked haha. Wasn't he a really good prospect too? I remember people being surprised he chose to go to Northwestern. I was watching a NU game a couple weeks ago and they said he was leading the country in completion % with like 80%. I think at worst he can be a pretty decent backup in the NFL.

After Reed, the next greatest Kutztown pro player was OLB John Mobley-Denver Broncos.

Nothing wrong with community man, recession put my dad out of work but PA out of state is basically cheaper than NJ in state. Yeah, I found it funny what Prime Time's reaction was to it too.

Most of the people who lived in my wing last year flunked out of KU. I think of the frosh class that enters, about 54% fully graduate. Kinda typical.

Mobley is a big deal here, almost moreso than Andre Reed. We are ranked 15th nationally too right now after a few awful years, so it's exciting to see a school get behind its team. My high school put out Franco Harris, Alonzo Spellman and Irving Fryar but no one supported our teams when I went there....and we had 'Nova OT Ben Ijalana who looks to get drafted.

Yeah, I've been keeping up to date with them being 9-0. There's a big game against Bloomsburg this week. I've got a frriend who I played football with who is starting for KU, and from what I've heard, is doing well for them. I've only seen the last quarter of their last game, so I don't really have much to go by.
