Discuss all week 10 games.

GT vs Va Tech Thursday night. UCF vs Houston Friday night.

Illiinois/Michigan, Maryland/Miami and Baylor/Okie State are the early games. Washington/Oregon, Hawaii/Boise, Bama/LSU and UNC/FSU are the after games. Arkansas/South Carolina, Mizzou/TT, Zona/Stanford and Texas/K State are the late games.

UNC-FSU should be a good one, alot of them feel bitter about last year in that late push by FSU. I don't know what to expect because VA beat Miami so it will probably be entertaining.

Oregon vs Washington should be a laugher. We're not even hearing the usual venom wafting across the border this year. As for the game i would think the Quacks will treat this as a chance to try some differant stuff and rest a few people. The Huskies are using about their 8th line combination up front on offense, maybe by the Wazoo game they might be settled on some sort of cohesive unit.

I know it is easy to forget, but there is a little game in Salt Lake City, Utah that is kind of important as well. Poor non-AQ schools get no respect anywhere.

We're at the point in the seasons where the pretenders are separated from the contenders. Also when the pressboxes & booths are full of bowl & NFL scouts.

LSU has me worried -- their defense is good but poorly coached (didn't spy Newton), they have Mr. All-SEC Peterson who might be the 1st defensive player taken 1st overall, & had a better recruiting class on that side of the ball than Bama. Their offense however is awful, almost twice the INTs than TDs, 2 young QBs who haven't gotten it yet. I think Bama will find Peterson & throw where he isn't, & work the running game to control TOP. The team who gets out ahead 1st will win b/c neither is good at playing catchup

Couple games I'm excited to see this weekend. Obviously going to be rooting for a lot of underdogs. I'd love to see Boise go down and Wisconsin drop one to Purdue, but maybe only OSU does that one.

TCU and Utah has my interest, but I can't really find a reason to care who wins. Either way one team is getting a BCS bowl and the other is gonna finish 11-1 without one.

For the 3rd straight year, a true freshman will be the feature back for Iowa vs. Indiana.

The past 2 years, Iowa true frosh backs vs. Indiana have gone for 232 yards and 4 TDs.

the Cotton Bowl is usually the Big 12 CG loser or #3 vs the SEC CG loser or #3, whoever wins the Baylor vs. Oklahoma St. has one of those locked up at least. Baylor was really impressive beating Texas in Austin on a close one & look like the Big 12 South winner, they sent the Horns to the Alamo Bowl at best.

Isn't that just the South Florida base as a whole? They bail on any team that isn't winning

Denard Robinson with a 1st play TD, then follows it up with a fumble, and now an INT.

Lamar Miller dominating early. Finished off the TD drive breaking a few tackles in the backfield and bouncing outside. TD was set up by a 53 yard pass from Stephen Morris to Benjamin.

Well, Iowa looks like they don't want to win today. Or at least not easily.

Stanzi with his 3rd pick of the year and our D isn't stopping anyone.

Eh. Dolphins fans are always there. Marlins fans are never there. Heat fans are fairly consistent. Really talking about legit fans, not the people that jump on when the team is winning. UM fans are basically boycotting the team because they want Shannon gone. Most want them to lose out. Really pathetic.

Our OL is just destroying Indiana, like they should be. But yes, Coker has looked good and is really tough to bring down.

Our D on the other hand looks really pretty bad. Our DBs and LBs are playing like 10 yards off all WRs because we're scared to get beat.

And Stanzi doesn't look like the Americanzi we all know and love. Like he's rusty or something, idk, just not great touch on his throws today.

I'd still rather have Morris playing at this point. I don't think Jacory makes that last first down to Hank. Not enough arm or pocket presence.

Oh I know, Illinois probably should win.

Michigan is lucky to be tied in this game with 3 turnovers and a turnover on downs. Illinois can't stop the big play and Michigan's defense is merely a deterrent on the way to the end zone.

"This is the new big 10 where your offenses are going to put up points and the defenses will do just enough to win."

Yea, I guess Iowa, PSU, MSU, Wisconsin, and OSU (and Nebraska for that matter) all suck at defense and coincidentally are the top teams in the Big Ten usually (plus Michigan). Yea Griese, it's fairly obvious that's what's happening in the Big Ten. Moron.

Roy Roundtree has single-handedly kept Michigan in this game.

Roundtree's made some big plays, buit he's also dropped at least 3 balls that would have been first downs.

As much as I hate Rich Rodriguez and want him to be fired, I have to admit his offense can put up points on just about anybody (or should I say "can put up yards on anybody, but maybe not points since Michigan turns the ball over at least three times a game.").

That said, the guys just knows how to **** up a defense (his own I mean). I'm starting to worry that if Michigan wns this game he might be back next year. RR is pretty much Bill Callahan at this point.

Yes, but it's still terrible play call. You have to move literally 1 inch and if you snap under center you just fall forward. Instead, you snap the ball back about 5 yards so now you have to 5 yards and 1 inch. Obviously it worked there, but still, it's illogical.

Perhaps the same deal as Chris Peterson with Boise State. Great situation with a good program and little to no real expectations/pressure.

And if the talk about moving to the Big East is serious, he gets all of the Texas recruiting with the benefit of an automatic BCS bid.

And that's great in college, but once you get to the pros, defenders also get bigger and stronger across the board. Unless you've got some elite measurables, which he doesn't, it's going to be hard to still put up epic numbers and be great with his style of play.

I think he's a guy who'll have more of a Curtis Martin type of career. Never an elite back, but a guy who can rush for 1000+ every year and be extremely consistent.

But RBs like that just don't get selected high....they really need to bring something amazing to the table like AP or McFadden. Plus with so many committees of RBs and the NFL going more and more pass whacky, it devalues the RB even more.

It'll be interesting to see where he actually ends up. I don't think he touches the top 10 like some would suggest.

I see Emmitt Smith and if he goes to a team that can get him to the second level, he's going to be a nightmare to stop, especially in the 4th quarter when defenses get tired. Ingram is the kind of guy defenders just hate tackling.

I don't buy the argument (not that you are necessarily making it) that the running game is devalued though, because the teams that can run the football and stop the run make the playoffs.

It was really their only major need at the time. They were set on starters everywhere else and needed a primary back....so they did what the had to in order to get the class's best back.

And please no one bring up Knowshon...that was the Broncos being ********.

Barring something like that, I don't see Ingram sniffing the top 15. His college production is great, but from a physical tools standpoint, there isn't much seperating him from guys who regularly go in the 2nd or 3rd rounds of drafts.

The national media is on his dick like no other because apparently looking good vs. Indiana, Purdue and Youngstown State means you are just awesome.

TCU interception returned inside the 5. Wesley punches it in next play, 30-0 TCU.

LSU's longest play today is a 29-yd gain on fake punt. Jeez.

followed by a delay of game.

Whelp, TCU made a mistake on offense. Clearly not BCS Championship material.

Tigers squandered the gain from the fake punt, Luther Davis it looked like batted the 3rd & 7 pass. LSU can't convert on 3rd & long, crappy QB play.

TCU is absolutely killing Utah.

How does Utah look sooooo bad at home? TCU has lost the 3 previous times in that state.

The front runner not named Newton is currently picking apart Hawaii with surgical precision

So how far does Utah fall after this beating? 17th-20th range? I don't think they deserve to be ahead of the other one loss teams after this considering they haven't really beaten anyone.

For all of the cases one could make, and he probably deserves it, there's about as good of chance of hell freezing over.

Ingram only missed 2 games after (arthroscopic) knee surgery too, pros like that minimal missed time a lot.

If the Heisman Committee is gunshy about Newton after the Bush debacle then who else wins?

Stanzi? Luck?

Luck's passing numbers are as good if not better than Newton's and he's squeaky clean.

Had I a ballot he would be my vote.

If he loses he will have to be compensated for being 1st overall pick. Heavily compensated, liked a $20M + signing bonus.... sky's the limit in an uncapped yr.

Kellen Moore for Heisman? Wasnt he out hurt for some games?

Julio Jones runs another crappy route and it results in a PBU by a freshman. Color me shocked

If McElroy had any sense of timing it would work. He dicks the dog in about 33% of his SEC games.....SCAR last yr & this yr, Tennessee last yr, Auburn, etc.

Key point right there. He's putting up these numbers against feared defenses like Louisiana Tech and San Jose State every week.

and if Julio Jones could run routes, it would have worked.

Between his incredibly ****** route running and his questionable hands, I'm not all that impressed.

He could be T.O., but I see more Reggie Williams

The WAC is far better than people want to give it credit for... their S.O.S. may still be higher than Oregon's.

Hawaii is a good team offensively and obviously Nevada is pretty good.

Luck drilling defenses like Washington and Oregon does not really impress me either, but people will assume it's better because they recognize those teams and automatically assume they must be better.

Boise State and Kellen Moore are just really, really good

Moore with about a 70% passing mark and 20 td to 2 ints is definitely someone that could get some attention.

As for Julio he is going to have to adjust at the next level to balls getting to his hands a whole lot quicker.

BTW, Barron just showed why he is a SS at the next level. He just lacks straight line speed. Randle is quite quick but to have him outrun Barron like that should be worrisome
