He's expected to be their slot receiver and help out Cutler a little more.

I will miss having Slots around Indy, due to injuries and part Dallas Clark (the two-TE system); his role was reducing but I did love having him in Indy. Good player, great person and it'll be odd seeing him play for a rival like Denver (the games between the two teams have been getting better and better); I wish him the best of luck.

Very good move. He is a great slot reciever and could probably take over as the starter when Rod Smith leaves. Smith, Walker, and Stokley are a good trio.
Good move by the Broncos. It's always nice to have a reliable 3rd receiver.

Didn't think it was that big of a deal to need to go into NFL forum

its not going to be walker rod and stokely
marshall is pretty much the #2 and walker #1, rod smith had hip surgery this off season...so its rod and stokely batteling it out for 3rd and 4th

Exactly. I think Marshall will be great. He's big, athletic and makes sick, disgusting, Paris-Hilton's vag-like catches.

im loving it.....we have gave cutler another weapon along with graham, henry, marshall is TNT ready to expload he was very impressive when he got playing time, our line is going to be better...we have kuper(he is bigger) pears will def. improve our RT spot, lepsis will come back to lock down the LT....we would only be better.....bly if he stays with champ will be lock down....bates comming in only helps our already very talented D, by having a cordinator that acutally knows what he is doing. IM LOVING it

i just strongly dislike giving all of these players big contracts (like i said, i'm waiting for the details, i'll backtrack completely if it's a reasonable deal). dan graham would've been a great pick-up for about 1/3 of what we gave him. i like henry and he addresses a need, but that's a lot of money. i'm just not big on firing all of this money into free agency.
on a sidenote, if we DID give him a fairly big deal, i would believe more that we're intending to trade out of the first round this year.

Good for both sides. Cutler needs help and Stokley needs a job. He has a chance of winning in Denver and they add weapons to help out the up and coming Cutler.

Terms of the deal weren't available but Stokley did not sign for just the veteran minimum salary. He signed a contract in excess of $1 million a year, but the amount wasn't immediately known. Incentives were built into the contract because Stokley is coming off an Achilles tendon tear.

I wanted him to come to carolina and revive the college connection he had with Delhomme.
Its interesting, Stokley is one player no one would expect to have won two superbowl rings, but he has.

wow he not needed that much. They should have just saved the money.
I hate you Broncos....quit signing good players when we have to play you twice a year.....

i don't think so, maybe a stop gap type of player for a season. Brandon Marshall is the next WR there working with at taking over for Rod Smith.

Good pickup. The question is whether he will beat out David Kircus? :)

We're putting him at DT and he'll stuff the Raiders running game and sack Jamarcus Russell 12 times.

That is a good signing. Nothing helps a rookie QB more than reliable targets.

great pickup for having a young qb, targets to make him comfortable...another TE, so now they have 2, 2 good outside wr's with one in the slot who is a vet, and 2 rb's in the backfield, i think walker will be a pro bowl starter this upcoming year....
ill be watching denver closely in the draft, i think if they can pick up some impact D lineman early on they are going to have to be a favorite for the AFC championship game...

That's the one. Watching it on TV, I thought he caught it like 5 yards out of bounds. That was amazing.
