Sam Cunningham highlights Hall of Fame class - ESPN (http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/news/story?id=5896862)

Wow a really, really weak class by CFB HOF standards with the headliners being Sam Cunningham, Barry Alvarez, and Desmond Howard.

Pat Tillman, Randy Cross, Ray Childress and Alfred Williams were all BEASTS in college, arguably the best players on their college teams, and among the best players in the game, at the time.

May not all be super-famous to the generic college football fan, but if you saw them play, they aren't a reach for the CFHOF.

BTW, it's far from the hardest HOF to get into; if a player is an AA a couple times in his college career, he's a near lock.

That doesn't seem that unfair though does it? I mean you have 4 years, if you are the best at your position for 50% of that then you had a pretty damn good career. I mean there are only 2 guys at the most represented positions in an AA team... If you played OT and were an AA twice in 4 years you had a hell of a career for mine.
