I guess the midwest didn't get the memo in the 1920s?

I know it helps keep you sane (which is a good thing in the mind-numbingly boring midwest), but it's still disgusting and there are other ways to entertain yourself.

I think it's awful that so many people are drinkers. Seems like 99.99% in the midwest are. Is there any explanation?

This isn't surprising at all...

People from Wisconsin have a warped view on alcohol... It really sickens me the way drunk driving is perceived in this state... It's almost like it's just another thing.

The sad thing is that Wisconsinites take pride in this type of thing.

I think that's more of a slight miscarriage. At least he was trying to show a possessive Packers.

He could have said something like "Did you guys know the Packer's have had injuries this year?" That's more of an abortion.

Oh also, Wisconsin sucks.

Go Massachusetts! Look at that beautiful red glow around the Boston area. I claim that north shore Boston area as my own home and these findings do not surprise me. The midwest is insane haha.

Cuz if it was churches, Wisconsin would be dark red.

*shrug* Bars are a crucial part of surviving midwestern winters, and I say this as a person who doesn't like bars often. It's the reason Buffalo's up there to, when it's a cold ass snowy night, you need someplace you can gather with other people and get warm. It's part of why people from the midwest aren't as big of pussies as people from warm climates.

I nominate this thread for "most likely to get a yeast infection."

If double entries are possible, can we put it down for "most likely to have been written by a woman during her period" also, please?

Thanks.

Guys, come on. It was my satirical response to this stupid thread (http://draftcountdown.com/forum/showthread.php?t=44028&highlight=filthy+hollywood). It wasn't meant to be taken seriously.

I think that's a pretty dumb thing to say- I've lived many places outside the midwest and outside the country. There's nothing wrong with the midwest, I find plenty to do. In fact, it has a lot of positives over other places in the US.

Also, I think people drink in the midwest more because it's socially accepted, not because "there's nothing to do".

Clearly, that is what the map said, it has lots of pubs, although alternatively it could just have very few grocery stores, but I certainly prefer to think it has lots of pubs because that makes me a happy panda!

Ah.

Well, I kind of jumped to conclusions based on what people like to say about the midwest ( most of whom have never spent a significant amount of time there).

I'm not so sure there are less tools per capita however. I think there is a pretty even amount of tools everywhere. Wait, where did Affliction/ tap out start?
