How many WR's do you guys see going in rd 1 ?

Julio Jones
Blackmon

I'd say atleast 4 could go in round 1. Green, Julio & Blackmon are pretty much locks in my eye. I also think some team will fall in love with Baldwins size or Floyds good tangibles.

I think Baldwin has a chance to fall to the 40s due to character + questions.

Also, I think Floyd could end up falling to out of the first quite easily as well. I am not a real big believer in him.

I'd rank them:

1 - Green
2 - Jones
3 - Blackmon
4 - Baldwin
5 - Floyd

If I had to guess I'd say four.

AJ, Julio, Blackmon and possibly Torrey Smith.

All I am hoping for is that they push Hankerson down for the Raiders!!

6-1" 200 pounds with legit track speed. Will likely run in the late 4.3's. Has thick legs but his arms look a little short. Will have to see measurements first. Firstly people should know that he is the most prolific kick returner in ACC history. People forget that because he didn't do it much this year but his first 2 years he was an elite kick returner, that brings immediate impact as a rookie. In terms of his receiving skills his change of direction and acceleration are top notch. Can run the full tree of routes and is very quick and explosive off the line. IMO a fairly refined route runner already in college would like to see him use his hands more though at the line. For me the biggest area of work needs to be with him catching with his hands. Lets too many balls get to his body. IS good at tracking down balls but needs to work on adjusting. I've seen him make great over the shoulder catches so for him it's about finding consistency. Likely a 2nd-3rd rounder but could sneak into late first over these bigger guys because he will be one of the fastest receivers in the draft and has special teams value. Big time vertical threat but not one dimensional like DHB. Very strong lower body which is something I look for in receivers who aren't 6-3"+

Green, Julio and Blackmon are sure 1st rounders right now... Floyd and Baldwin are borderline guys and Torrey could go in the first after good workouts.

Greg Little from UNC is a sleeper though.

There are a couple of guys who could sneak into the late first for a team looking for a smaller shiftier guy. Kind of like when Anthony Gonzalez went in the first. Broyles if he declares, Titus Young, and Jeringan fit that bill. Also I don't expect him to get any higher than mid 2nd but I expect Dwayne Harris to rise fast after the senior bowl and workouts.

Speed at this point is rather useless until the combine, just about every receiver apparently has run a 4.3 at school.

i know i'm a canes fan.. but i think Hankerson can make an early impact in his nfl career.. nothing special physically to me, as far as i know, but just a solid all around WR to me

Exactly which is why he's a 2nd-3rd round prospect. Still like him though but his potential is limited. Will be solid at the very least though.

We will see officially at the combine but as listed although some seem a bit off and Julio definitely is more than 8 pounds heavier than Green if he really is 6-4" which I'm doubting:

AJ Green 6-4" 212
Julio Jones 6-4" 220
Justin Blackmon 6-1" 205
Torrey Smith 6-1" 200
Michael Floyd 6-3" 227
Jonathan Baldwin 6-5" 230
Ryan Broyles 5-11" 183
Greg Little 6-3" 220
Titus Young 5-11" 170
Dwayne Harris 6-0" 205
Leonard Hankerson 6-3" 205
Austin Pettis 6-3" 203
Terrence Tolliver -6-5" 204
Randall Cobb 5-10" 186

WRs have a tendency to drop. I remeber a couple years ago when a lot of people figured Devin Thomas could go as high as Buffalo and Sweed would be a first rounder. Donnie Avery ended up being the first receiver off the board, going early in the 2nd round.

I think the only locks are Green and Jones. Maybe only one other receiver going in the first round.

Durability could hurt Floyd, otherwise he'd be a top 15 pick. Baldwin has some personality issues, but a lot of people don't realize that he's a smart guy, academic all-conference, and there is speculation that he is gonna take the combine by storm after many wondered about his speed. I think those two will be in a real dogfight for the 4th WR spot behind Green, Jones, and Blackmon - and I'm sure there will be some teams who rate Floyd or Baldwin in their top 3 WRs on their draft boards.

If I had to guess how they go off the board though:

1-AJ Green
2-Julio Jones
3-Justin Blackmon
4-Michael Floyd
5-Jonathan Baldwin
6-Ryan Broyles
7-Torrey Smith

But I'm really flip-flopping back and forth on Baldwin and Floyd.

I think 4 go in round 1, maybe a 5th sneaks in there late, but I would be surprised if less than 4 are taken in the first 32 picks.

I think Green, Jones and Blackmon as locks in for the 1st, while Baldwin and Floyd need to have a good off season to secure them as 1st rounders.

Raidernation, Rachel Starr is the ****.

Anyway.. is there a chance Titus young will be there in the 3rd? I'd love the cowboys to cut roy williams and have titus in the slot with dez and miles on the outside. That would be the sex/unstoppable.

Smith has a lot of learning/playing to do before he can be near Roddy.
