Plummer: Teammates Trying To Get Him To Come To Tampa Bay?

Apparently some of Jake Plummer's former Cardinals teammates, now Buccaneers, are attempting to lure Jake Plummer to Tampa Bay. They also don't believe Plummer is really retired and believe he'll play again.

Jake clearly doesn't have the passion for the game anymore. I think he believes he got a raw deal in Denver. I've been a Plummer fan as an ASU grad for a while now, and the guy has alot of pride and likely feels satisfied with the 9 years he had. I think he'd make a good color guy for either CBS or Fox.

I think you're thinking of Luke McCown, who I believe is on the roster as well.

Is he on the practice squad? Because if they do get Plummer that will mean they have like 5 qb's on active roster.
