Justin Blackmon is staying at school. Other than that, it's not bad. I'm not a big fan of Bowers going to Denver. They have Dumervil coming back and there are bigger needs.

Really? That's a shame.

I'm not a huge fan of Bowers either, but he is the second best defensive lineman in this draft. Denver's pass rush is not fixed just by adding Dumervil back into the equation. He is coming off a serious injury and Robert Ayers is best used as a rotational player, in my opinion. It's just too bad Luck withdrew, thereby making Fairley the first pick.

I can't see NE taking a back in round one with more basic needs like OL , DL still to be addressed. BB has been burned on taking one back in the first round and will only do so if all his foundation pieces are in place. We have a sound if not spectacular running game as is with street FAs toting the rock.

A back would have to wait until round 3 or 4.

I don't think Tyrone Smith is a good pick that high. He's a lightweight and plays RT. I'd rather have Carimi.

LeShoure isn't a bad pick, but if we were to go with a RB at 15, it's gotta be Ingram IMO.

WTH is everyone drafting Gabbert to SF all of sudden. Please stop its making me sick!Just because his has a good size body built and rumor to be good arm , I don't think he will be in SF to run the WCO system .SO stop it already.I think the only QB we take in round is one Locker at this point. If not then we go defense first two rounds maybe 3 and pick a QB in the 4th is worst case .

R.Kerrigan > Sherrod

Not so sure about that. Let's wait and see what happens with Matt Light. I prefer Solder. But, Sherrod would be my 2nd T. Ingram might be too good to pass up. I don't think we go there. But, that's pretty good value picking at 32. I'd take M. Wilkerson at 33 if we don't go 3-4 de in Round 1. I've been wanting an olb since 07. Who knows what Belichick thinks of this years crop?

Wow. Instead of going on a rant, why don't you just say that you prefer Locker?

It's very early in the draft process, but after the Senior Bowl, I think we'll have a better idea of where Jake Locker's draft stock is. We all know he is going to look excellent at the combine, but I want to see what kind of a player he is when he has more talent around him. But at this point, I think it is safe to say that Gabbert's stock is higher. What is it about Gabbert that has 49ers fans up in arms?

For some reason I don't really think Derek Sherrod is what New England is looking for in a tackle. Nate Solder and Gabe Carimi seem more in line with a New England RT. I'd be hoping for Kerrigan, Heyward, or Jordan with that first pick.
