I'm not sure if I buy Cameron Newton to Arizona. I've heard multiple rumors that they are considering trading their 2nd round pick for Kyle Orton or Kevin Kolb. I'm just not sold that they are going to take a QB.

Other than that, it looks pretty good. I think the Atlanta Falcons would take Julio Jones if he did somehow manage to slip past St. Louis and Kansas City though, but you did address to big needs for both of those teams, I just don't see Atlanta putting more value on an offensive lineman in this situation, when DE, WR, and a COP RB are bigger needs.

Great Phins pick.. but we are like the only team that didnt sign anyone!? Im pretty sure if Mankins, Joseph and Nicks all made it to Free Agency wed made a pretty good run at one of them.

I would be shocked if there's this much free agent movement, but I won't get wrapped around the axle on that. As you said it's all hypothetical. Also, another interesting name you can add to that list is Plexico Burress, who is getting out of the slammer in June.

For the Packers pick, Moch is a very intriguing prospect. I've only seen a few clips on him and I watched one Nevada game this year where he didn't really stand out. If he really does run a 4.3 though, somebody is going to take him very early.

Yeah, I'm hearing that he's ran a sub 4.3 several times. Of course, we'll see how he runs at the combine, but there were rumors of Taylor Mays running a sub 4.3 too and he definitely backed it up.

Dontay Moch is a very interesting prospect, I think his speed could really shoot him into the 1st round, but I believe he showed up at the Shrine game at 6'1 228, which could really hurt him if he doesn't put on atleast 10-15 lbs.

Nothing wrong with the pick, but I doubt NO lets a Pro-Bowl guard get away.

If we (Bills) sign Tamba Hali, then our need for another starting OLB is lessened, as we would have both Shawne Merriman and Hali. I'd rather we take a chance on somebody such as Cam Newton, or Marcell Dareus. Dareus would be a perfect pick for the Bills, as we run the same defense as Bama's. He'd be able to step right in, and be an effective player for us.

I don't know much about Quinn, so maybe he would be a good pick for the Bills. Would he strictly be a 3-4 OLB?

+rep for the FA signings

Denver's pick is fine, but Bailey will stay.

the Falcons need more help then a OT in the 1st. I would easily take Julio Jones over Castonzo.

not a bad Vikes pick but would rather have Amukamara in that situation, Winfield is aging and may move to safety, Griffin's future is totally up in the air after a 2nd torn ACL, and Chris Cook is a borderline bust, love the graphics btw

I endorse this.

I like Watt quite a bit and wouldn't mind him at all to the Saints but there is NO way that the Saints don't re-sign Carl Nicks. He's too valuable to the offensive line and we have zero depth behind him to step up and take his place.

Chad Greenway - San Francisco

I just don't see this in any way. I'm not sure how well Greenway fits the 3-4 and as it sits right now the 49ers plan to resign Takeo Spikes (Hugely underrated at this point) and still have the youth of NaVorro Bowman and Scott McKillop behind Willis and Spikes.

If Bengals let Joseph walk you can pretty much pencil in Patrick Peterson there

I've been saying that there is no way the Bears take a receiver in the firts round unless Green or Jones somehow falls to them. I don't think it will happen (I personally think Jones is still going in the 5-10 range), but if it did, I would be thrilled! We need offensive line help, but you can't pass up Jones in that position.

Also, I love that you have Moch in the first round. You are the first person (other than myself. I have him going to New Orleans) who has mocked him in the first round. My only issue is that I think the Jaguars would favor Kerrigan over Jordan. But otherwise great draft.

Why would Asho go to the Lions when he said he has a desire to play for a contender? And why would the Eagles sign an old corner?

not a fan of what you did for free agency. I don't see alot of it. Alot of guys going to lesser teams

Agree. Especially, if we lose Light and Mankins. Slide Vollmer to LT and let Solder push Kaczur at RT. I would even trade up from 28 to get Heyward. Would like a wr at 60 given his free agent scenario. D. Williams and E.Wright. Hope for R. Cobb - Kentucky

The Lions could be a contender soon. Suh and Avril give them a great young defensive line. Asho would be huge for their secondary. On offense, Best and Smith should be a good 1-2 punch, Calvin Johnson and Pettigrew give Stafford a set of good weapons. If their offensive line can keep Stafford healthy and the FO continues it's good drafting, Detroit should be in the playoffs very soon.

Free Agent Movement (Very Hypothetical)

Carl Nicks - Dallas Cowboys
Yes please.
Antonio Cromartie - Dallas Cowboys
Mixed feelings. Feel his contract demands are going to be higher than his worth.
Eric Weddle - Dallas Cowboys
See above. More interested in Michael Huff
Doug Free - Chicago Bears
Really? We let our franchise LT go...

9 Dallas Cowboys- Patrick Peterson DB LSU

Love PP and Nicks. Can't imagine we let our franchise LT walk out. And as far as the FS position I think Weddle is going to command a much bigger contract w/o being better/a whole lot better than Michael Huff (whom has ties with our new DC).

can't see Atlanta letting Grimes walk..

there is no way that happens. He is probably our mosy athletic player and the best #2 CB weve had in quite some time. He is easily my 3rd favorite falcon.

To add to this point, Nicks is a RFA. RFAs have proven to be a hard sign for teams and most teams stay away from them. There's no chance the team lets him get away. Nicks and Evans are the mainstays on the offensive line and will not be sacrificed.

The Bills resigned Merriman and then sign Tamba Hali, while having Arthur Moats growing, so why would they go Robert Quinn 3rd overall?

Good pick for KC, but highly unlikely scenario involving our BEST defensive player.

love the free agent work on the mock.
many rams fans are counting on spags to reel in one or both of these 2.

14 St. Louis Rams- Prince Amukamara CB Nebraska

julio jones has a hard stop at 14 (unless green, fairley or bowers are available which they obviously won't be.)
if jones is gone, one of the de's seem more likely.

Vikings = Not a horrid pick, but would rather have Prince Amukamara in that situation. Anotine Winfield is aging fast, and Cedric Griffin's knees are hamburger. After that we have backup CBs only.
