1st mock that I have posted on this board, in future I will extend it to 2 rounds with explanations but just wanted to get it up.

Constructive criticism is welcomed and comments in regards to the picks.

As you can see just from my perspective, some guys seemed to fall farther then I intended them too which sometimes happens in a mock when you can't find a place for someone (Quinn, Dareus, Solder). Just as some notes!

Anyways, enjoy! Let me know your thoughts

14. St. Louis Rams – Jonathan Baldwin, WR, Pittsburgh

Just not a very good pick for the Rams. The value just isn't there, not to mention possible attitude concerns that the Rams like to avoid. Kerrigan, Aldon Smith, or Ayers would all be better picks.

Pretty good Patriots draft. I could see both picks happening.

For my own mock drafts, would Stephen Paea or any other DT also fit for the Rams at 14?

Robert Quinn would play DE for us and I would be fine with that.

One of the best I have seen for a "first mock"

Since Kerrigan and Aldon Smith are already gone, perfect pick for the Bucs.

And only because all 4 big QBs are gone.

Descent SF mock .Though it is still hard to pass on Locker if he really shines this week at the senior bowl.He will be our guy but it all depends on how he does. However, we can still use that CB very much so either way a good pick .

if this mock happened, id be happy for the patriots. however, im not sure the pats would take smith. hes raw, isnt a senior, and isnt a captain... and those seem to be traits we look for in impact first rounders

Depends on what's on the board, but sure, DE, OLB, and DT are all potential options if the value at receiver isn't there for St. Louis.

Nice eagles pick, definitely one of my top choices for the eagles.

absolute no to Dareus. I do love him, but no way to Detriot. Corey Williams played at almost a Pro Bowl level with Suh, plus Hill is great depth. We already have three starters, 1 All-Pro and 1 Near Pro Bowl....absolutely no way to Dareus. If we go BPA, then maybe Solder or Ingram or a DE. We also have to get a starting corner and potentially two outside linebackers from this draft.

Can't see the Cardinals going the QB route, Whis loves Skelton and he just simply doesn't have enough time to groom one of these guys a Vet to compete with Skelton is the most likely answer at the position. CB or OLB seem the most likely picks, PP, Amukamara or Quinn being the likely picks with a outside shot at Miller I guess since Whis was seen talking to him today

Can you explain your rationale for Dareus to the Lions?

Every dang mock giving the Skins Locker, I know Shanny apparently has a hard on for Locker and you can never underrate that aspect, but Locker to me isn't even a top 25 pick so if we took him over Darreus and Quinn I'd cry for days.
