I prefer Smith, Burton and even House to Williams but its a good draft for AZ either way

Heyward and Titus would be perfect for the Ravens.

I wish I liked Cam Newton, but, man... I guess I can't argue with the pick, plenty of NFL minds are sold on him. I'd just personally be pretty skeptical.

Would normally be okay with a DT in round 2, but to pass on Jimmy Smith would send me into fits of rage. We have major CB questions: Winfield is another year older, Griffin is coming off his 2nd major knee surgery, and Chris Cook's knees are not faring much better...

Would also consider a safety in round 2. Our secondary I think is a weaker unit than our DTs. We have Letroy Guoin, Fred Evans, and Jimmy Kennedy there. None of which are great starters, but they won't lose us any games...

4. Broncos – WR Torrey Smith, Maryland

I've posted this in other mocks - there is no way Denver spends a 2nd rounder on a wide out. They already have Gaffney, Lloyd and Royal, plus they invested 2 high picks in WR's in last years drafts - their highest 1st rounder in D.Thomas plus a 3rd rounder on Erick Decker, both of whom carved out good roles in the offense in their rookie years. There is neither room on the roster for another WR nor the luxury of wasting such a high pick on a skill player when so many spots on the defense require youth and talent.

If the first pick is a DT as you suggest, then the 2nd round has to have 2 of the 3 next needs - CB, LB, S.

With him having bulked up a bit from the season and the fact that he has been unblockable thus far at the Senior Bowl I would be absolutely delighted to get Cameron Jordan at 17, however I feel he is definitely playing his way into the top 10. Wisniewski is another nice pick and could shore up the interior of the offensive line.

Beal Im not a fan of, especially that high. However with the way the board has fallen it is a tough call where to go.

Leshoure is ok I suppose, however I would maybe go back to the offensive line instead of RB at that spot.

Round 1

3. Bills – DE De’Quan Bowers, Clemson
2. Bills – OT/G Benjamin Ijalana, Villanova
7. Titans – TE Kyle Rudolph, Notre Dame

Bowers and Ijalana would be a good draft, IMO Bowers and Rudolph would be even better. Bills TE's last year 23 catches, and 1 TD, no impact...

Round 1

10. Redskins – QB Jake Locker, Washington

9. Redskins – DT Muhammad Wilkerson, Temple

Locker isnt the pick I want right now but I get it. Well see how things progress with workouts but right now I think Locker is a late first early 2nd rounder. At this point Id prefer Julio or Cam Jordan. Wilkerson is an interesting pick. He looks like he'd be a good 3-4 5 technique player.

No OL in the first 2 rounds is bad news but Paea and McDaniel is hard to complain about for the Colts.

You got the needs right on the money. However, Gabbert ? I'll pass on him very much thank you.Trade him for Locker and its a sexy draft .

27. Falcons – OT Nate Solder, Colorado

27. Falcons – WR Jerrel Jernigan, Troy

I dont know much about how Solder would fit into our scheme so i wont comment on that, but Jernigan in the 2nd is sexy as hell!

Jimmy Kennedy isn't coming back, which is why I would be fine with Taylor here.

I actually like the Love pick for Oakland, even with O'Dowd on the board.

I think there's a chance he returns, but even if he doesn't we still have major issues at DB, moreso than DT.

Beal's stock is in a free-fall and he won't be a second round pick at this point barring a dramatic turnaround. I'd go with Ijalana at #33.

WR is the least justifiable position for the Broncos to draft. It was the only position on the Broncos roster in 2010 where the backups were actually competent.

agreed i think beal's stock is now a mid-late third rounder... and that might even be pushing it

Bears might have to go with Deunta Williams in the 2nd but I'd be pretty happy with that start.

Kind of a reach on Beal, but good mock overall

Not a bad Chargers mock. I usually mock us Cameron Jordan if the scenario falls right, but as of late he keeps on rising-and realistically will probably be gone on Draft day before we pick.

I am very intrigued by Aldon Smith, I haven't seen much Mizzou tape on him-but he screams freak and has a good head on his shoulders. Only concern is that some DE's can't always make the switch to OLB in the 3-4 (which is what we are experiencing right now with Larry English >_<). Seems like those Purdue boy's do it best haha.

And Burton is a good pick. With Jammer getting up their in age, rumors are going around that he will eventually make the move to Safety. Even is he doesn't we can still use a top young Corner which this Draft is very deep in.

Orlando Franklin I am a fan of as a prospect... But I don't really know how I feel about him as a Charger. Sure we can use help at RT as Clary regressed, and isn't a world beater-and I am not sure if Franklin can play RT, or will be kicked inside to Guard in the NFL. Even if he was a Guard he could provide good depth to Dielman and push Vasquez who had a down year as well.

Overall nice job, + rep
