I'll stay away from the homer pick of the "Steel Curtain," and go with Stan "The Man" Musial. Simple, yet outstanding.

does 'GOLDEN BOY' Tom Brady count ?
...Not really. Especially since they also call Peyton that sometimes, or any QB on any team. Even highschool qbs get called that. The only person with rights to that name is Oscar De La Hoya.
Manny "Pac-Man" Pacquiao (gotta love the Filipino)
"Pretty Boy" Floyd Mayweather
Bernard Hopkins - Saint Bernard, B-Hop, Executioner

LOL!
Anyways, I'll vote "Agent Zero" as one of the worst nicknames.
My favorite nicknames are the ones where they take the first letter of the first name and the first few letters of the last name, and put a dash in the middle. Examples:
J-How (Josh Howard)
K-Will (Kevin Williams)
P-Will (Pat Williams)
T-Will (Troy Williamson)
Yeah, those are really original and cool. And sorry, I could only think of mostly Viking ones but I'm sure there are several on every team.
