Why aren't more people talking about this guy? I know he is a small school guy but he is being extremely underrated right now.

He had a solid performance at the senior bowl, and at 6'0 predicted to run in the 4.4s. He is currently the 16th rated corner on Scott's board.

I can't say I have watched a Utah St. game but from what I can find on youtube, and his press clippings he looks to be an excellent corner. He was sixth in the WAC with passes defended, and although he doesn't seem to be the ball hawk he is no Carlos Rogers with 1 INT junior season, and 2 this season as a senior.

He also played running back at USU, which was intriguing to me, maybe he can return some kicks as well?

We need some more Marsh love on here!

Anyway what do you guys think about Curtis Marsh?

He could sneak into the 2nd round, but I'd say 3rd round for him. If he could have played in the Senior Bowl, I imagine we'd be talking about him more.

He has excellent speed I have been watching some clips from the BSU and USU game, and he needs some refinement but he definitely is a football player.

There was a play where he was beat by Pettis I believe, and just as the ball is thrown you see #23 right next to the receiver again, excellent recovery speed. I think he needs some work on his tackling though, but most corners do anyway.

Has he been invited to the combine?

Add Cortez Allen and Richard Sherman as sleepers too

Thats a damn good question, Marsh is a former RB with so much potential, I seen him be effective in coverage against Young and Pettis from Boise St in a game, it was impressive. Another sleeper I like very much is Justin Rogers and jhe can contribute on special teams from day 1.

I wouldn't mind Marsh in the 3rd or 4th to take over at nickel for Ross once he bails, and then develop slowly behind TT and Web, then once Webster retires we could possibly have a very good #1 or 2 corner.

I liked what I saw out of Sherman at the Senior Bowl. But he seems more like a FS to me.

Marsh belongs in the 2nd-3rd Round discussion. His rare athletic ability is through the roof. He is fast with excellent recovery speed. Great agility and flips his hips well. For being so inexperienced, he's displayed a knack for the Defensive side, showing solid instincts and always sticking his nose into the action.

Marsh is still quite raw which is why I peg him in the 3rd, but he has a ton of ability.

Marsh has only been playing CB for two seasons after playing RB his first two seasons at Utah State. Physically he's got everything you look for he'll just need time to continue growing as a CB and developing his craft. If he can get with a strong DB's coach and really work his technique, there's no reason why he can't be one of the better CB's in this class a few years down the road.
