Nice Pats draft.

You forgot J.J. Watt. New England at #17 works. I don't know if they'd take someone so one-dimensional as Houston. They like outside linebackers who can cover and set the edge and Houston seems more like a dedicated rusher. They might be desperate enough to take someone outside of who they normally look at, but I think Watt is much more likely there.

I considered Akeem Ayers at 17 as well. Remember the Pats have the 33rd pick and could then choose from JJ Watt, Cameron Heyward or Ryan Kerrigan. I think in those top 3 picks they come away with OLB, OT/G and a 5tech DE. There are loads of 5 techs in the draft this year and considering they passed on Odrick last year I think they will wait for a DE. That was my thought process behind the picks.

Horrible SF pick and way to freaking early for Smith.IF Quinn and AMUKAMURA are there.I think they go that route instead.Nice try though.

Good mock, would rather have Watt over Smith as ROP said.

Gabbert is a fine selection.

Ryan Kerrigan over Corey Liuget. Liuget just doesn't fill a need. He plays Sedrick Ellis' position. We do not need a 3-tech, we need a NT.

more likely he goes top 10 than falls out of the 1st

good AZ pick, I prefer PP but have to accept our fate

agree that he won't fall out the 1st but top 10? where has all this hype come from. Appears it has been in the last 2-3 weeks that he has started flying up draft boards.

Kyle Rudolph is not a 1st round TE. end of story.

Nate Solder over Jake Locker for Seattle would be about as dumb a move as i've seen in quite awhile. Pete Carroll isnt that stupid, is he?

We would take Amukamara or Quinn at that pick.

Not the greatest Chiefs pick, but good job on the mock and welcome to the DC boards!

Thanks for all the feedback guys. A few picks are there to be different from the norm. Was tempted to put Cam Newton at 1 as it seems his hype train is really getting going now.

I think that Rudolph has a chance to go late Round 1 if he can prove he is healthy.

Aldon Smith to the 49ers was just something different to a CB and nice rush backer might well happen on draft day.

As for the chiefs they generally only go for high character/ team captain sort which made the pick very limited in terms of options, can certainly see them taking a LB though maybe not Wilson.

As a Colts fan just hope we take offensive line early and often as we need to get Manning protected and some help in the running game.

interesting seeing dareus fall. Realistically Peterson is a possibility.

I think if the CBA is still up in the air more teams will draft best player available. If peterson was there the Browns would have to look long and hard. Him and Haden would be a phenomenal tandem.
