-Feel free to leave comments.
-If you don't like a certain player at a certain spot, please say so.
-For the Vikings, I think they pick up a veteran QB bc they have an older team.
-Since Donovan McNabb is technically on the Redskins, I am not giving the Skins Newton, at least not yet.

If Denver goes CB / TE with their first two picks, there will be rioting in the streets of Denver.

Bruce Carter is the only pick I like here for the Saints. Powe is not terrible but I just think he would be a slight reach in the second, especially with Allen Bailey still on the board. I think Clayborn is a bit overrated and would not touch him in round 1. I don't think the Saints would either, especially with his off-the-field concerns. The Saints will take a flyer on some guys with questionable character but it has to be low-risk, high reward. They would not invest a high pick in a guy who might end up being a prick. Thus, I would prefer Akeem Ayers here if the draft fell this way and I say that even as I recognize that the Saints just don't seem to value linebackers in the first round. Given that you have Ayers going in the second, I would prefer seeing the Saints trade down here and take Ayers. With the second pick in the third, I would take Kenrick Ellis. Jordan Todman just doesn't do it for me.

Akeem Ayers, Allen Bailey, Bruce Carter and Kenrick Ellis > Adrian Clayborn, Jerell Powe, Bruce Carter and Jordan Todman.

decent wouldprefer Houston in RD 1 and Baldwin in RD 2

Make that last pick Ryan Williams and that is the greatest Rams draft I've ever seen!! I have Paea as their pick in the 1st, and you have him falling all the way to the 2nd round! It would be beautiful if that happened.

Not bad for Oakland.

The 3rd round though, ew. We took 2 tackles last year but I like the Love pick.. give us like Carmichael in the 3rd.

I can sort of see Mark Ingram at #17 even though I'm really hoping to focus on the offensive line and front seven this year, but that pick is realistic given the Belichick/Saban connection and his overall talent level. The Patriots could use someone who forces opponents to gameplan around them. Derek Sherrod is a nice fit/value as well, but if the Patriots re-sign Matt Light, they likely won't draft a tackle. The playoffs have shown us that New England needs to upgrade the inside of their line. Defensive end is probably a bigger need though, and Cameron Heyward is a great fit and value. I'd go with him there, and then upgrade the line at #33. The Patriots can't afford to go with three offensive picks in a row. Mike Pouncey and Muhammad Wilkerson are good options on the offensive and defensive line. I think the Patriots would look at Ijalana at #60 too, as well as John Moffitt. Herzlich projects as more of a 3-4 ILB. Sheard works, and Clint Boling is a great pick though. Maybe something like:

1. Mark Ingram
1. Cameron Heyward
2. Brooks Reed
2. Ben Ijalana
3. DeMarco Murray
3. Clint Boling

I rather stay away from DeMarcus Love

I am alright with this Vikings draft, though I don't know what I think of Kerrigan that high. Moore is awesome in the second.

02-21-2011, 07:20 PM
Ryan Kerrigan is a tweener type of player in the NFL. At Purdue he was a very good pass rusher. This might be stretching it a bit but Kerrigan could be "B" version of Jared Allen.

Good Packer draft... a few things I might like to see different, but I hope we do address the WR postion in the first 3-4 rounds so this draft makes me happy.

02-21-2011, 08:13 PM
Love Darreus although I wouldn't take him over Newton. Hudson in the 2nd is a decent pick although don't love the value. Would rather have Phil Taylor, Akeem Ayers, Paea, Nevis, among others.

Excellent SF MOCK!! Mallet in round 2 is a steal! Not sure if we a RB that early but if it is BPA nice job.

02-21-2011, 09:32 PM
Don't like this mock. Most of the players don't fit our system and some are reaches.

02-23-2011, 04:35 PM
LOVE Cam Newton, and while Moch isn't a bad pick in the 3rd, Kendall Hunter would be a MUCH better one because he fills a bigger need. And I would be pleased with Kendricks in the 4th.

02-23-2011, 04:43 PM
yeah, I dislike this for the saints very much.

I hate Ingram to the saints because of need, fit and even value with guys like heyward and paea still on the board. people are really underestimating how bad of a fit ingram would be for the saints given what the saints do and who he would be replacing and what the saints need.

I really dislike Bailey, both as a prospect and even more so as a prospect in a 4-3 defense. decent value though but just another bad bad fit

I dont think Herzlich is back and I dont like to take him there cuz I ahve my doubts he will be back

Lawrence Guy is another guy I dont think fits well but he is at least acceptable value

This. Moch doesn't fit the Phins OLB mold either. Don't even think he'll be on their board.

Would love for the Cowboys to get these picks, but O-Line NEEDS to be addressed in the first 3 rounds.

02-24-2011, 05:06 PM
hunter is my favorite giant pick there

02-24-2011, 05:51 PM
Id probably drive my car off a roof if we passed on Peterson for Amukamara.
