That seems like a pretty realistic Pats draft. I would hope we take an OLB earlier than the end of the second, but Sheard wouldn't be terrible there.

I thought this was a great mock except for a couple of things:

1. You have Ryan Kerrigan going way to soon.

2. The Ravens may have soured a little on Michael Oher, but they will not pick an OT with Akeem Ayers and Cameron Heyward still on the board. The OLB/ELB and DE/34E positions in the Ravens defense are too hard to fill because they are basically two positions in one, and Baltimore has needs for both spots. Ayers and Heyward are both perfect for those positions.

By the way, good pick for Arizona at #102. They are good at picking bad offensive lineman, so that's probably who they will go with. [LOL]

Not a fan of the Bears draft at all. I'd take Pouncey over Wisnewski, Marvin Austin and his issues over Allen Bailey, and I think Cobb is a better fit for what the Bears do than Pettis, though I do like Pettis.

Very nice Giants draft, can't complain at all about that one. Solid picks that I would be very happy with in all 3 rounds

Not a big fan of Ingram to the Pack, but I get the whole "value is too good to pass up" thing. And getting Franklin, Acho, Harris offsets that a little bit.

change brooks reed to jabaal sheard and you have an ideal saints draft, saints need OLBs but 3 is a bit much

All I can say about that Raves mock is YECH! Ayers is going to be an ILB in a scheme like ours and I'm not really a fan of him for the Ravens. Hankerson or Heyward would be much better picks there and it seems like you value them in the end of the first.

I'm really falling off the Jernigan to the Ravens bandwagon. He seems like a guy that's only going to be effective in the slot, and our need is on the outside. Whether it be a vertical threat or a big receiver to give Flacco a jump-ball option we definitely need to get a receiver (one or more) that can play outside.

Sash in the third is just bad. He's not going to be an upgrade over Zbikowski or Nakamura, so why take him?

For Saints, Mark Ingram over Stephen Paea. Sheard and Bailey are fine though some safety hurt wouldn't be too bad. In the late third, I would go for Kenrick Ellis. Ellis, Sheard and Bailey would add some much needed talent to our front seven while Ingram helps to give us the running game that allows our offense to run at an optimal level.

Newton is beautiful in the first, but Powe makes ZERO sense after we just signed Big Paul to the franchise tag and have tons of depth on the D-Line. Give us Kendall Hunter there instead. Kendricks is solid in the 4th.

A++ Rams draft. Jones-Taylor-R. Williams with our first three picks? Where do I sign up?

Since we get Torrey in the 2nd which is a great pick I won't say #10 should be Julio but Cam and Watt would definitely be before a guy like Aldon.

Good Vikings draft. I don't know Wright, but I like the positions.

76. 49ers- OLB Mark Herzlich, BC

You had me very happy until there. I just don't see Herzlich being the pick at OLB, especially with Moch and Acho still available.

MidwestJimmy

Mark Herzlich played OLB for BC but would convert to the inside in the 49ers 3-4D. For the middle part of the draft, Tom Keiser actually played OLB on the edge in a 3-4 for Stanford, but will probably be available at least a full round later than the third.

For defensive ends to turn into edge linebackers for SF in this range, Sam Acho (Tx) (who was already mentioned), and Jeremy Beal (OU) are possibilities, and maybe Cliff Matthews (SCU) if he climbs boards a little. ELB is a big need for the red and gold.

For the Browns:

1st round - Give us Dareus instead
2nd round - Good pick for what's available for the next 12 picks
3rd round - Not a good pick. We need the best RT available at this point or DE
4th round - Good pick here. Gets some of the fans excited just based on his name and bloodline.

Overall - C

PP, Reed, Bailey would be much better for AZ
