JJ Watt at #3 makes me feel all warm and tingly inside. I wish I would of thought ot that first. Might just have to steal that one. ;)

Haris is just an ok pick. We could use a CB but its not quite as pressing as its made out to be. Also the team has said they will be looking for bigger CB's and Harris certainly doesn't fit that description. Though I don't see particularly good value there with Harris or Williams anyway.

Cam Newton at #1 after his terrible showing at the combine, ok.

1. Carolina :: Cameron Newton, QB, Auburn
2. Denver :: Da’Quan Bowers, DE, Clemson
3. Buffalo :: JJ Watt, DE, Wisconsin - no way he goes this high to a
3-4 team. He would be a run stuffer when they could have a real sack artist in Miller.
4. Cincinnati :: Nick Fairley, DT, Auburn
5. Arizona :: Patrick Peterson, CB, Louisiana State
6. Cleveland :: Robert Quinn, DE, North Carolina
7. San Francisco :: Von Miller, OLB, Texas A&M
8. Tennessee :: Marcell Dareus, DL, Alabama
9. Dallas :: Tyron Smith, OT, USC
10. Washington :: AJ Green, WR, Georgia
11. Houston :: Prince Amukamara, CB, Nebraska
12. Minnesota :: Blaine Gabbert, QB, Missouri
13. Detroit :: Anthony Costanzo, OT, Boston College
14. St. Louis :: Julio Jones, WR, Alabama
15. Miami :: Mark Ingram, RB, Alabama
16. Jacksonville :: Cameron Jordan, DE, California
17. New England (f/OAK) :: Aldon Smith, OLB, Missouri
18. San Diego :: Muhammed Wilkerson, DE, Temple
19. New York Giants :: Nate Solder, OT, Colorado
20. Tampa Bay :: Ryan Kerrigan, DE, Purdue
21. Kansas City :: Phil Taylor, NT, Baylor - no way he goes round 1 after getting kicked off Penn St.'s team by Joe Paterno
22. Indianapolis :: Corey Luiget, DT, Illinois
23. Philadelphia :: Jimmy Smith, CB, Colorado
24. New Orleans :: Martez Wilson, LB, Illinois
25. Seattle :: Adrian Clayborn, DE, Iowa
26. Baltimore :: Brandon Harris, CB, Miami(FL) - Just don't believe at this moment he is a 1st round talent.
27. Atlanta :: Gabe Carimi, OT, Wisconsin
28. New England :: Cameron Heyward, DE, Ohio State
29. Chicago :: Mike Pouncey, OG, Florida
30. New York Jets :: Jonathan Baldwin, WR, Pittsburgh
31. Pittsburgh :: Derek Sherrod, OT, Mississippi State
32. Green Bay :: Brooks Reed, OLB, Arizona

Other than those few questions, a pretty solid effort.

Great KC pick and I disagree about Taylor not going in the first. He has completely changed his life around after the Penn State incident.

I can definitely live with that pick for the Saints.

and I really like Watt to Buffalo. That definitely makes a good deal of sense esp. considering the combine he had and their need for a DE.

Do you feel that Watt is the best player on the board at 3?

I feel an argument can certainly be made that he is...i'm a big fan of Watt and Cameron Jordan and would be willing to spend a top 5 pick on those two but i'm probably in th minority on that

I would agree that an arguement can be made, I have heard lots of back ground noise that Buffalo likes Jordan alot. When I watched Watt at the combine I thought there would be some talk about him being the pick for Buffalo. Watt has progressed nicely and certianly had a great combine. I might be in your minority, and have had similar thoughts...
Anyways, they have said they will go BPA, Im not sure sure he is that guy yet, as I have several others rated ahead of him and by the sounds of it so do/did they, but you might be on to something. It certainly would create some "buzz", and be an upgrade over the recently departed Marcus Stroud.
Although I do not think they will trade down, I would love to see them do so and land Watt or Jordan myself, just not sure about either at 3 personally.
Do you think Watt will be an effective pass rusher?

as someone who saw every Badgers game this year, I can guarantee you that JJ can get after the passer; he's simply a disruptive force!

I hate the Aldon Smith pick for the Pats but I love the Cameron Heyward pick for the Pats.

I really struggle with it cuz I think Martez is about as overrated a prospect as there is in this draft, the position is a good one though but id like Paea or Heyward infinitely more as a pick

Saints pick=F. Wilson is overrated. I know he ran well at the combine but on tape he's stiff, lacks fluidity and is slow at times reacting. He's not a thumper but he is a sound tackler--I can give him credit in that regard. But this guy is not a first round talent and is not the best player available.

listen, not only is Brandon Harris not 1st round talent, he's 5'9 and terribly inconsistent.

OK, I will have to look into him more, see what I missed.... Thanks for the response!
