I like Reed Taylor and Mallett but just outside of the top 25. I'd add Locker, Gabbert and Newton.

I have about 20 first round players right now. Still have to go back and watch JJ Watt. I go back-and-forth on I feel with Aldon Smith. Locker is right on the cusp of round 1.

Here's a rough big board I've been working on. I have players separated into mini-tiers but have not yet ranked them within the tiers. My top four are the same as yours (although not necessarily in the same order).

1-4: A.J. Green, Cameron Jordan, Patrick Peterson, J.J. Watt

5-6: Marcell Dareus, Von Miller

7-12: Prince Amukamara, Da'Quan Bowers, Nick Fairley, Julio Jones, Robert Quinn, Tyron Smith

13-20: Gabe Carimi, Anthony Castonzo, Brandon Harris, Ryan Kerrigan, Jake Locker, Cam Newton, Stephan Paea, Brooks Reed

That's the top 20 for now. Going to figure out who goes where within the next few days.

A lot of people are not too high on Bowers. Not working out at the combine did indeed hurt him, a lot of people have questions about him and that would have been a chance to answer a lot of them. His best fit seems like a mystery and teams might be questioning how athletic he really is. He had such a great season too, if he had a good showing at the combine he could have made himself a top 3 pick with this draft class.

If your Top 2 after this Combine isn't Peterson and Quinn or Peterson and Dareus you shouldn't be taken seriously.

There is a lot more to the draft than just the combine. Cam Jordan was an absolute monster this year and definitely deserves to be in discussion to be somewhere at the top of a BB.

Jordan has a serious shot at my Top 5 right now, but #2 is just too much. Let's wait until his pro day though.

what's his pro day gonna tell us that his play on the field or performance at the senior bowl didn't? by the way the only player Jordan jumped after the combine was AJ Green...i monitor what happens in Indy but it doesn't alter my rankings too much

Jordan is the kind of prospect whose stock improves gradually. He wasn't even a first rounder before the Senior Bowl and his combine performance in Indy was his one-way ticket to the Top 10. Now a good pro day would seal him as an elite prospect.

30) Kyle Rudolph TE Notre Dame

Still not sure why Aldon Smith came out, he has no business being my #6 DE but I don't want him ahead of Kerrigan and would like to move Jordan up from 4 before I even think about moving Smith up. Wilkerson is 1 spot behind him and could also rise, even though he's not considered just an end.

Smith would've been a top-5 pick next year and he could've played the season blindfolded.

Definitely Ponder. The arrow was pointing down on Ponder & he turned it around 180 degrees. He's looking like a mid-rd. QB value guy now.
