Take C.Heyward at 33 and the Pats mock would be nice.
Although, I don't like the Pats taking a RB in the 1st to just add a committee.
D.Sherrod there would make much more sense with S.Neal retiring, the Mankins situation and M.Light likely to be cut

Kerrigan - Ingram - Heyward would be a great start.

Excellent Vikings pick. DE isn't near our biggest need, especially after we resigned Brian Robison, but Quinn is too good of a value to pass up there.

Cam Newton is not a top 5 pick this year or any other year. The guy has MAJOR throwing problems. He might be the next Mike Vick but the Benglas don't have Andy Reid to coach him up. Why do you think that a Heisman winning QB didn't get any better in Cincinnati after 8 years? The Bengals need a once in a generation QB to even compete because they don't have the coaches or supporting staff to grow players. Anyone but a QB at #4.

I love Quinn and that is awesome value, but we just signed Robison so I doubt we are targeting a DE early.

That's not outside the box, that's just silly. No way that guy is even close to a Top 15 pick. I think people keep getting caught up in all the Clay Matthews comparisons and love for this guy. But here's a big dose of reality: HE'S NOT CLAY MATTHEWS. He's not even close! He's not fluid in the hips like Clay is, he's a conversion guy, where Clay spent most of his time at USC already at LB in their version of the 3-4. He was taylor-made for the OLB position in the 3-4 and that's why he's so successful. Reed is just another undersized end with stiff hips and slightly above average pass rush ability that will have to make the switch to OLB in the NFL. He's got long blond hair, beyond that, I don't see the comparison at all. I wouldn't touch the guy before the third. TIFWIW.

Nailed it! I thought these were the best fits of all. Definitely seem like the type of guys these teams would want.

Should've flushed this mock down the toilet with the rest of the waste for having the Lions take Carimi @ 13!!

lol jk

I get the pick, wouldn't be terribly upset with it if Mayhew decides to go that route, as I trust everything the man does.

Love Carimi's potential and confidence in deeming himself the unquestioned best tackle in the draft. Would personally rather have Kerrigan, Jimmy Smith or even Brandon Harris (who i thought impressed at the combine despite his small stature) as picks to fill more of an immediate need but last time I checked Wisconsin did create the monster known as Joe Thomas, so looking long term, if Carimi is the pick, hopefully he turns out just as good!
