RT @ChrisSteuber (http://twitter.com/ChrisSteuber) #HeardThis (http://twitter.com/search?q=%23HeardThis): #Dolphins (http://twitter.com/search?q=%23Dolphins) could be wildcard for Mallett at 15. Ingram is popular pick, but Mallett & Pouncey MIA targets?

I'd stab myself in the face. Repeatedly.

I don't know, I'd be ok with it. But it needs to be with a trade down. If we take him in the 20's it's ok. We can't do it at 15.

I honestly don't want any of the QBs in this draft. I'd be ok with Gabbert, meh about Mallett or Locker, would probably quit caring about the NFL for a little while if we got Newton or Ponder. Personally, I don't think Mallett will be much better of a pro than Henne, Locker and Newton I don't think we have the time to wait for them to be ready, Gabbert won't actually make it to our pick, and Ponder I just don't trust to stay healthy. I'd rather just improve our interior line, running game, and get some speed on offense and stick with Henne. Take a Kaepernick/Stanzi in the 3rd/4th or a late rounder like Potts, Portis, or Enderle to develop and sign a veteran like Kerry Collins or Marc Bulger to 'compete' with Henne.

I think he has a chance to be great, but I am a little leery. I would like to trade down if they consider him, but if it came down to being stuck at #15, I would still take him over Ingram...

I think the best way to approach this draft is to avoid the qbs completely unless you want to take a project in rds 6 or 7... (Portis?) Add a bunch of skill players on offense and see if Henne has it. If he doesn't, next yr's draft will have Luck and Barkley and they can hopefully go all out to land one of them.
