Randall Cobb in the 2nd makes me want to slaughter a koala bear with a machete.

03-27-2011, 11:28 PM
I could see that Denver draft happening. I love the focus on the front-seven.

03-27-2011, 11:54 PM
Major reach in the 2nd. Give us Nevis, Dowling, or Burton

I actually wouldn't mind Julio Jones in this situation. Hopefully they would be able to trade that pick to someone but I think Jones would BPA in that scenario. Carter is a good pick in the second.

No Cam Jordan anywhere? Haha I'm sure it was just an overlook.

In any case, I would prefer Jordan at 18 over Houston. Baldwin is a good fit.

Funny, I must have lost him when I was tinkering with a trade-up for him I decided against. Fixed now, and San Diego is where he belongs here. That ironically takes Houston out of my 1st round completely and I like the way certain things fall in the 2nd

Love the Amukamara pick.

In the second, even though I'm not his biggest fan, I would have to go Andy Dalton. We just need a QB too badly to not get one in the first 2 rounds.

It's hard to see the Rams leaving the first two rounds without a WR.

I'm not sure I like Luiget with players like Kerrigan and Aldon Smith still on the board, either. I still have Paea rated higher than Luiget at DT. Foster in the second is a good enough play regardless.

Elsewhere, Darius at #1 overall is ballsy, and in the end I think they'll go a QB. Locker to the Redskins is a nice call, and the Cowboys/Cleveland trade has merit.

Why are the Lions picking a WR with Tyron Smith still on the board?

Is that a little high for Torrey Smith?

Kaepernick is a name I haven't seen quite that high before.

Leshoure to NYG is an interesting pick, I like it a lot.

I think the Chargers are winners in this mock as well.

Well done.

An Alright 9ers draft. However,I would rather have Mallet over Clayborn IMO.Still I would take that draft.Maybe Mallet falls into round 3.

great picks for the bucs!

03-28-2011, 03:51 PM
for my saints id prefer heyward and wilson, however the picks arent bad at all, I just dont like bailey as a prospect or in the 4-3 but thats partially just me

Green is fine in the 1st but i dont think the Bengals will pass on Gabbert if he is there in the 1st when they pick.

Franklin is fine in the 2nd but would rather see Danny Watkins at that spot.

03-28-2011, 05:31 PM
Bonerific Bears draft for me.

03-28-2011, 05:59 PM
Hate it for the Ravens. Justin Houston is a far better pick, our pass rush needs far more help than our secondary.

Like GoRavens, Im not a fan of Cobb in the 2nd (but it doesnt make me as angry as him)

03-28-2011, 07:39 PM
Ingram is good

03-28-2011, 08:09 PM
ill take martez wilson in the second for the giants because we already have 3 RB's, if ahmad is resigned (dont see why he wouldn't be), and anyway linebacker is still our biggest need for improvement maybe even moreso than LT

1. Tyron Smith
2. Martez Wilson

cant get much better than that

03-29-2011, 11:06 AM
please stop with the OT to KC in RD 1.NOT GONNA HAPPEN.Phil Taylor instead

03-29-2011, 12:09 PM
No way do we take Sherrod in the first when Taylor is on the board.

Are you by chance a Texans fan? :P

I'm just not as big into the Taylor hype as some others - he's being overrated purely based on positional value. I know Pioli is the type of guy that would put positional value or overall talent over need, but not everyone was convinced he'd pick a safety in the top-5 either. If Sherrod were the pick there and he ends up being a solid starting LT with Albert on the right side I don't think anyone would regret that pick. At worst Sherrod plays guard, but they're talking about moving Albert there too and he's supposed to be their best lineman at this point. All that unit has going for it next year and in the future are Albert and Asamoah. If you want to make an argument for Barry Richardson, then let him bookend with either Albert or Sherrod with the other at guard with Asamoah.

I'm not completely convinced they won't want Taylor there, but maybe they trade down to get him -Dan Williams shot up draft boards the same way and he developed into a solid 2-down NT late in his rookie season, he went 26th which sounds about right for Taylor as a player expected to make a similar contribution. I hate doing year-to-year comparisons like that especially when talking exact draft slot because the draft is obviously always different, but I do really feel that 25-35 is where Taylor's true value is

I love it.

I also love the focus on the front 7.
