Why would the Titans draft Daniel Thomas?

We have MUCH bigger needs than a #2 RB. Like OLB, ILB, SS, DT, and LG... just too name a few.

Word around the Titans is that they are very concerned about the Chris Johnson situation. They are afraid he will sit out unless he gets a new deal. I would not be surprised if they spend a 3rd rounder on a RB.

Solid draft for the Saints. I would make one change. I might change the pick in round 2 to Bruce Carter. I can live with the pick of Edmund Gates though I think we could opt for another pick on defense.

for KC:

Nate Solder...TERRIBLE OT is not an immediate need.NT is Phil Taylor >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> all OT's

Jabal Sheard....NO.I'd go Rodney Hudson sice he can play OC and C is the biggest need on the OL

Kendall Hunter....another bad pick.we alrady have a Hunter on the team in McCluster.Gates or Kurley would be better

Jerrell Powe...good pick but with my suggesting Taylor instead go Ridley or Jeremy Beal there

Nate Irving...the one KC pick I'm ok with

all in all a poor KC mock

Why on God's green earth would the Redskins draft a TE, much less with their 2nd round pick?

( ): NFL position
blue: second pick in Round 1
red: first pick for team

Round 1
9. Dallas: Nick Fairley DT (34E),Aub - No. Tyron Smith and Prince are sitting there. If you want to take a DE high look towards the second round (Heyward).

Round 2
40. Dallas: Leonard Hankerson WR,Miami - No. Why would we draft another WR high? If we skipped secondary on the first pick Moore, Williams etc. If we went Prince with the first pick Wis, Cannon, etc.

Round 3
71. Dallas: D.J. Williams TE,Ark - Have you seen Dallas's depth chart? Witten (top combined TE in the league by most merits), Bennett (huge potential right now best blocking TE on the team), Phillips (was having a breakout year before going to IR). No need whatsoever. We pass on Ellis, House, and Patrick (depending on the draft so far) for him?...

Round 4
110. Dallas: DeAndre McDaniel S,Clm - Yay! Good pick. Blow up the first three rounds and keep the last two picks and we'll talk :)

Round 5
143. Dallas: Jason Pinkston OT,Pitt - Very good pick for a 5th rounder.

First three rounds are AWFUL picks after that you finished very strong.

don't like this skins mock at all....there is no way, with so few draft picks, and so many holes would the redskins draft a TE. that is one position between cooley and fred davis that the skins do not need to address. same with drafting a kicker even in the fifth....they have too many holes to waste a pick on a kicker....when a kicker can always be signed after the draft. don't like taking a qb with the first would rather the skins wait till the second round...unless they trade down and take one in the latter part of the first. i would have drafted Prince amukamara in the first and would be running up to the podium to snag locker in the second

dismal steelers mock from top to bottom. they would definitely take kendricks in the 3rd over cameron in the 2nd...they love kendricks.

pretty much the same comment but martez wilson instead of bruce carter although if you want to make me deliriously happy you would change the second third round pick of the saints to Kelvin Sheppard

Wow, you guys are more harsh than the board on CBSSports.com. Let's go through some points.

Bears 3rd: Dowling/Burton

Which Burton, the WR or the CB?

Word around the Titans is that they are very concerned about the Chris Johnson situation. They are afraid he will sit out unless he gets a new deal.

Thanks for the support, but I think the Titans need a RB so Chris Johnson doesn't get grinded into dust from too many carries. Trust me, Johnson will remain in light blue no matter what it takes.

Kendall Hunter....another bad pick.we alrady have a Hunter on the team in McCluster.

Isn't Dexter McCluster playing WR now? Or is he doing both like he did at Ole Miss?

Dallas: Marcus Cannon

That's an idea, as the big OT/G from TCU will remind Jerry Jones of the good ol' days when the Cowboys were winning Super Bowls with huge O-lineman.

As far as the Redskins, I read that they are unhappy with Fred Davis. Maybe they will keep him as a starter if he's a good blocker, with H-B Chris Cooley as the receiving TE in their 2-TE oriented offense.

The top 2 needs (QB, CB) are never addressed.

Marsh is really fast. You should hope the Steelers pick him if you're tired of the Patriots throwing all over you; he's fast enough to cover Wes Welker.

The top 2 needs (QB, CB) are never addressed.

I have Chimdi Chekwa going to SF at #115. But yes, I overlooked QB.

Mallett at #12 = Fail.

Do you mean fail as in the Vikings would fail with Mallett, or my pick is a failure? I myself wouldn't pick Mallett that high but I bet the Vikings will.

Green is fine in the 1st but i dont see the Bengals passing Gabbert if he there.

Way to high for Kaepernick he is a project QB and the Bengals dont have the luxury of taking a project QB they need someone to come in compete right away. Give them a OL QB or DL in the 2nd.

3rd round is fine

Bengals have no need for a ILB because they are switching Maualuga inside they do need a OLB though.

5th round is fine.

MidwestJimmy

I might be ripping him off by having him in Round 2! And that's not the only article that says so.

If Kaepernick goes 1st it would be worst then taking Tebow in the 1st and they would be mocked for it for a long time. Kaepernick is 2 years away from being a starting QB in the NFL.

Pretty poor Ravens mock.

We dont need another 5'9" CB. Harris is basically Josh Wilson. Give us Justin Houston or Muh Wilkerson at 26.

Pettis is a reach at 58. House, Foster or Acho (if we take Wilkerson in the 1st) instead

Murray is a decent pick. Little would be a better one IMO

Bair is a huge reach in the 4th. Give us one of Sturdivant, Moffitt or Irving.

Mims and Marecic are good picks at the end of the 5th

Kinda all over the place here. A lot of players are going after players that are not as good as them at the same position.

32. Green Bay: Akeem Ayers ELB,UCLA
64. Green Bay: Martez Wilson ILB,Ill
96. Green Bay: James Brewer OT,Ind
129. Green Bay: Deunta Williams, S, UNC
131. Green Bay: Stevan Ridley RB,LSU
163. Green Bay: Ronald Johnson WR,USC
-Ayers could work.....not a huge fan of him, but it's the right position (OLB) and conference for us (Matthews, Bishop, Rodgers...)

-No to Wilson or any ILB. We just gave new big deals to 2 ILB's in Hawk and Bishop, plus still have Nick Barnett and Brandon Chillar (2 more Pac-Ten LB).... so deep there we will probably have to cut Barnett loose.

-Brewer, nice pick, good position. Does he have the look that the Packers like in their OL though?

-WR Ronald Johnson, nice pick as we might need at least one new WR.
-RB to me seems like no need because we get 1200-yard rusher Ryan Grant back to the team that won the Super Bowl. So we know what he can do already, and he's signed.... better than a rookie so I don't expect to use a pick on a RB unless he's a KR/RB stud as well.

Nice effort overall though..... 5 round mocks I like.

Not a great Phins draft. We have no need for another young safety and Greg Jones is undersized even for the 4-3. In a 3-4 he would be a terrible fit. Pouncey at 15 is also a little too early.

A draft like this would better fill our needs:

Round 1: Mark Ingram
Round 3: Greg Little
Round 4: Ricky Stanzi
Round 5: John Moffitt

I don't see [Denver] targeting [Ryan] Williams early.

If you like Williams and you don't take him at #46, you won't get him at all (without trading up).

Does [James Brewer] have the look that the Packers like in their OL though?

Oh right, good point -- the Packers have a zone blocking offense. But accounting for that while doing a mock would be a pain. Sometimes you have to do some research to see who uses a ZB scheme, and then you would have to google the weights of all the O-lineman. (There aren't many centers or guards around this year, but there are a bunch of offensive tackles.) I just looked up Brewer, and he's probably too big for GB at 323 pounds.

pretty bad Raiders mock, I mean you basically drafted positions that we have starters in place for already. With the players you have available when the Raiders pick I would have gone Wiz (G), Johnny Patrick, O Dowd, and then a LB like Chris Carter or Herz.

Chris Carter in Round 2? Are you Al Davis? Maybe you mean Bruce Carter of UNC. Chris Carter is from Fresno State, and I took him off of my top 200. They are both outside linebackers named Carter so it's easy to confuse them, other than the fact that Bruce is way better.

145. St. Louis: Terrell McClain DT,USF

That's a shocker for the Rams.

With all of those DE's on the board, you can't give the Rams an overrated corner at 14. We don't need much help at corner - Bradley and Bartell were one of the best starting tandems in the league last year. Kerrigan and Watt would make more sense.

Moore is an Okay pick. Spagnuolo's scheme has never really featured dynamic safety play, and though we lost OJ, we'd definitely be looking to do WR or OLB here. Martez Wilson is a guy I really like - DT Stephen Paea is an option too.

I won't even start on Rogers. He's tiny, I don't think he's going to be durable - suffice to say, he's not a guy who's going to take the ball away from Steven Jackson 10 times a game. Give us Kerley or Acho.

Shorts and McClain are good picks considering what you've addressed earlier, but I'd like to see the earlier picks change considerably.

For the Rams, you're looking at WR, DE, DT, OLB, and S -- roughly in that order.

So we [NYG] dont address the linebacker need in the first 5 rounds?

What linebacker need? You got Jonathan Goff (who the coaches like) and Keith Bulluck (a proven veteran) starting, and their backups are Michael Boley (former starter) and Phillip Dillard (possibly a developing young player). It's a two linebacker system with three safeties, which decreases the number of LBs you need on the roster. Boley comes off the bench as the third LB when switching things up to a normal 4-3.

I was going round by round as in rd.2 Wiz, rd. 3 patrick, rd.4 o dowd rd 5 herzlich

Stephen Wisnewski is a good pick for Oakland's first overall pick in Round 2, especially if you want to keep Jared Veldheer at OT. But Kristofer O'Dowd? Why do you need to draft two centers?

That's why i put the (G) next to Wiz originally, as he could start at LG with the depature of Gallery and then we could could start O' Dowd at C and have some depth with Satele and Wiz both capable of playing guard and center. I would really like an o-line of Veldheer, Wiz, O' Dowd, Campbell, Walker/Barnes/Henderson with Loper and Satele for depth. The Johnny Patrick pick would give us some more depth to go with Johnson and Routt and the 2 rooks from last year (McFadden, Ware) and LB is def. needed as Scott/Groves and Goethel were fairly unimpressive most of the time so Carter or Herzlich would give us more depth for WLB, let Scott move back to being a 3rd down rush end type where he's much better.

Easily the worst Raiders mock draft of 2011. Almost bad enough to neg rep.

It's an A+ if you were shooting for an April Fools gag mock, though.
