Nice Pats mock. I think the Pats may take someone like Heyward over Ayers at 28 simply for the reason that Ayers would more likely be there at 33 than Heyward. It really doesn't matter in this scenario though as Heyward falls so I like it.

Eh. I'd love to know what the Phins got for the trade down if you don't mind. But if we get at least a 3rd rounder out of it I will be happy that that. Probably a little too early for Ponder there, although I wouldn't be terribly upset with it if that's the guy they want for the QB position. Not bad.

Pat Sims 90

Great KC pick.

And welcome to the DC boards!

Am I just not seeing him or do you have Mark Ingram falling out of the first round completely? I doubt the Dolphins reach on a Quarterback rather than take a future stud Running back.

You gave the Steelers Aaron Williams - B+
Your from the UK - A+

Overall A!

Sherrod isnt a bad pick for the Ravens but Houston would be a better one

I don't like Ayers in the pats D. J. Houston there and Heyward at 33 and that's a great start to a Pats draft.

If the skins stay at 10 i would hate if they pick locker....in all likelihood they will probably trade down and try to grab him later (which would be fine because then we would have another draft pick ....which we have few of this year). Locker is not worth a top ten pick IMO. Would rather grab J. Jones (Moss is FA and the skins already did not have much at the position behind him) or grab Quinn (pairing up Quinn opposite of Orakpo would give the skins a fierce pair of OLB)

Locker or Aumurka > Fairley,DT is not a need for SF at the moment. But nice try.

Akeem Ayers may not be a good enough or experienced enough pass rusher that the Patriots need. UCLA shifted their linebackers which put Ayers on the edge (called a 4-3 under) but he dropped into coverage way more than he rushed the quarterback. (The Bruins might as well played a normal 4-3 and had Ayers outside on the second level.) If Houston or Sheard are still around at #28 (like you have them in your mock) NE would be better off taking one of them. Ayers would be perfect for Green Bay because covering is pretty much all Frank Zombo does anyway playing opposite fearsome pass rusher Clay Matthews. Good job on the mock.
