Makes sense that you're a Jags fan. That trade is ridiculous.

I like Mike Pouncey more than most on these forums, but no way in hell do the Bears move up to take him and give up 2 more of their 6 picks, leaving them with 4 total. And I've already explained in several threads why the Bears trading up is not going to happen.

Another Bears fans said it's very realistic, and the Bears FO does appear to love him, as does OL Coach Mike Tice.

It's not unthinkable.

I have an excellent feeling he's our guy.

I used to be the only one beating the Dalton drum, since other national writers and team sources have joined along.

Best QB in the draft.

Well you dont need to formulate the whole draft AROUND that pick which this draft seems to do.

The bears would not give up draft picks JUST for Pouncey. Interior line is far from a need as is T and DT. The value to move up for someone of the value and positional need of Pouncey is not there.

I'd disagree. The Bears OL as a whole needs improvement. If they love Mike Pouncey enough - and it seems like they do - giving up 3 picks for that 1 pick to get him makes sense.

They may want to move up and 16 is a good spot because the Pats have been linked to Pouncey, and everyone knows how they love Florida players. The NY Giants have also been linked heavily to Pouncey, so 16 is a great spot to grab him, if he is "your guy".

I would also disagree that if any team is willing to trade down for more than average value it is the Bears. They need picks more than any other team and have needs that can be addressed early to mid 2nd and pick up an extra pick.

its a crap shop and Angelo has never shown the propensity to trade up.

However, he has shown a propensity to deal picks - especially of late in recent years.

That Bears fan is wrong. And it is pretty much unthinkable for them to move that far up.

Maybe so, but my point being that if they do want Mike Pouncey then they're going to have to go up to 16 to guarantee him.

Fine Rams pick if the receivers are off the board, though personally my preference in that situation would be for A. Smith.

And my point being that they don't want ANY one player that badly. The proof is in the pudding, man. The Bears have never traded up in the 1st under Angelo. So, unless you think the Bears think Mike Pouncey is the best player in the draft in the last 8 years, then it ain't happenin'.

Can't see the Packers trading down with us to let us take a possible franchise QB.

And not sure I can see the Vikings sold on Mallett's character.

For the Saints, I am leaning away from Justin Houston and toward Muhammad Wilkerson based on who is available. I would also take Cam Heyward before Houston at this point.
