I decided i was not real happy with my last 7 Round Mock and i decided to just strap it and start a new and the fact that i had a big fail and forgot about Adrian Clayborn. I decided to also try some new picks and tried to fill team needs. I am happier with this one then the last one.

Very good draft for the Colts. Getting Pouncey in the 1st and then a steal in WR Torrey Smith in the 2nd would be great!

The first and third rounds for Miami are very good, but the rest is less than ideal. No need for another S or NT and the OL you have us taking are just reaches in those spots. Shorts is solid in the 7th though.

first and second round are good enough for me to like this draft but the third round is positively shocking, ryan williams and greg little make no sense at all. Change them to Kenrick Hampton and KJ Wright and you have a great saints mock

Pretty bad mock for the Bears. Solder is not really a good fit in Chicago. Plus, if Liuget is on the board at 29, I'd be shocked if he wasn't the pick. Hankerson in round 2 isn't terrible, but I think Nevis, Casey, and Wisniewski are all better picks. I really don't think RB is a need in Chicago, especially not in round three. Wright is good in round four. But to not give the Bears a CB at all and wait until round six to give them a DT would be a pretty bad outcome.

With the way OL get got drafted in this draft a lot of teams had to reach on OL in this draft. Gave them NT and S just for depth purposes.

Gave them Ryan Williams because Thomas cant stay healthy Bush will prolly be gone and Ivory has injury concerns. Greg Little i gave them because i was going back to the though of them taking Patrick Robinson in 1st and shocking a lot of people just wanted to mix it up. Could u image a WR core of Colston, Little, and Jimmy Graham. Brees would put up some sick numbers.

Even if you want a running back, at least give them a bck in the mold of bush and thomas and not someone who offer little/nothing in the passing gave. Little would offer nothign to the passing game as he wouldnt be able to get into the game over Colston, Maechem, Henderson and Lance Moore. The fifth wideout on the sainst roster always doubles as a kick returner. Basically, if you insist on going wideout please give the saints todman or someone similar (not murray, to injuryprone) but please just dont and picking someone on the single position the saints are deepest is just crazy

Not sold on Sherrod being a 1st rounder decided to give them the best OT in the 1st. I usually give them Corey Liuget but i decided to change it up a little. With the OC they have i know he loves to throw the Ball and he is lobbying for the Bears to get more WRs that is why i gave them a WR in the 2nd dont see them taking 2 OL with back to back picks. I see RB as a pretty big need for Chicago because Forte is going to get run down fast if Chicago does not get someone to relive some of the carries. It is a 2 back league now and Chester Taylor is not what he use to be in like he was in Minnesota. CB is for depth purposes. DT is a big need in Chicago i really Toeaina as a starter and i think the Bears will resign Anthony Adams or go after a DT in FA when and if the CBA is reached. Israel Idonije could also switch back to DT if needed.

I would be absolutely stunned if the Colts chose Pouncey over Carimi, Torrey Smith over any competent OL or DL, especially Ijalana whom you have going one pick later, or Jarvis Jenkins over the dearth of higher quality players left on the board. I don't hate the selection of Pinkston, but the Colts should already have at least one if not two OTs by then and Jaiquawn Jarrett solves the problem of needing to find a starting SS. You did outdo your last mock, however, as I actually like one of your picks in Derrick Locke.

Much better job with Denver's draft. I wish you would've fit a LB somewhere in there, but I really can't argue with any of the picks.

wow id love von miller in the first round at 10. not sure though that titus young is the right fit for us at WR. i like him as a prospect but he isnt really the type of receiver that seems to make sense for our offense right now. i could be wrong but thats the impression i get.

Good job on Denver's picks. Drake Nevis in the 3rd is an absolute steal. I'd be happy!

Gotta agree with T-Rich here.. if Wis is available in the second it's an automatic slam dunk pick. The rest of the picks are solid.

I really think 7 is way too early for Locker and I don't think Harbaugh liked what he saw of him when they faced off in the Pac-10 (check out Locker's numbers against Stanford the past few seasons).

I'd say Von Miller doesn't get past SF in the first, then Kaepernick or Dalton in the second (trade up for Ponder also very possible, I'd say).

48.Oakland Raiders- OG Marcus Cannon TCU

Can't hate it. The team is reportedly enamored with Ijalana, but you know how "reports" go. Cannon would be a pick worth some optimism.

81.Oakland Raiders- CB Chimdi Chekwa Ohio State

When did Chekwa get surgically attached to Oakland? Seems that's the consensus 3rd round pick.

113.Oakland Raiders- OT DeMarcus Love Arkansas

Would almost certainly have to play guard. If Love and Cannon are your guards, you're forcing Bruce Campbell back outside to tackle. That's a little unnerving.

148.Oakland Raiders- QB Tyrod Taylor Virginia Tech

Al doesn't dig on running QBs. I'd love to see them draft a developmental QB in spite of the team's long, staggeringly poor history of failing to produce a homegrown QB since Kenny Stabler. Taylor isn't the type of QB Al would take, though. Not unless he felt Taylor could move to WR be another Ronald Curry.

181.Oakland Raiders- OLB Jonas Mouton Michigan

4.9 40? I don't think Al drafts DTs with 4.9 speed, let alone LBs. Jordan Cameron would be the type of developmental TE that Al could take a liking to.

219.Oakland Raiders- DT Karl Klug Iowa

Gets a little silly critiquing picks this late, but I'm a silly guy. Klug would be a reserve LE and could see some time inside in nickel, though he'd be hard pressed to see the field with guys like Richard Seymour, Tommy Kelly, Desmond Bryant, and Lamar Houston all being very capable interior pass rushers. Probably wouldn't make it out of camp.

241.Oakland Raiders(COMP)- WR Denarius Moore Tennessee

Seems pretty good value. Could conceivable make the team.

I would have liked to have seen a receiving TE in there somewhere in the mid-to-late rounds and an OL with legit upside to play tackle in the pros. But, this certainly isn't the worst Raiders mock I've ever seen.

Other than the fact that I disagree they will take a RB on day 1 for reasons that have been rehashed several times, the only other guy that I question in Lawrence Wilson. Too small to play OLB in the 3-4 and we have a bit of a logjam at ILB right now.

Like the Salas pick though. You must have seen that Ted was at the Hawaii pro day.

I was gonna say the same thing. They NFL f**** up the whole draft by milking it into a f***** marathon and making day-1 just one round.

I like our current RB situation and we don't need another one, especially in round 2.
But getting Leshore to close out round 2 could be a steal. I've heard him compared to Steven Jackson on the NFL Network by somebody..... but he's had some character issues in the past and the Packers are pretty strict about a guy's background, so that bares watching.

One thing the Packers NEED to upgrade is they need a stud punt & kick returner for the first time in years! Thrill Blackmon did it pretty well as a PR for a year or two but couldn't stay healthy and couldn't do it as a kick returner. How's Salas at this?
I believe Paea is only 6-1, and probably too short to play DE for us.

32.Green Bay Packers- DE Stephen Paea Oregon State
64.Green Bay Packers- RB Mikel Leshoure Illinois
96.Green Bay Packers- WR Greg Salas Hawaii

226.New Orleans Saints- DT David Carter UCLA
243.New Orleans Saints(COMP)- S Brian Lainhart Kent State

The first 3 picks I fell in love with, then I saw who you gave us and who got drafted right after that and it made me a lil sad. Something Williams wants in his defense are guys who are fast and athletic, and Moch is the perfect fit for the Saints. Even though we already drafted 1 OLB, we really need 2. If Moch was to us, I woul say this is one of the best drafts we could possibly have. A DT for a body and a S to remind Roman Harper that he should play pass defense.

I believe Paea is only 6-1, and probably too short to play DE for us.

Paea has less than ideal height, but they have shown a willingness to go with shorter DEs (Pickett and Howard are only 6'2"). That may be out of necessity rather than desire, but I wouldn't hate it if Paea was the pick.

I agree on the value of Leshoure talent-wise at that point, but unless our OC (in our case also our HC) intends on making a significant effort to run more than he did last season I don't see how investing a 2nd round pick on a RB is a value pick when you have guys in Grant and Starks that can do the job.

You are correct that Salas doesn't provide the PR/KR some of us would like to see, but IMO that isn't going to be the dealbreaker for Ted that it might be for some of us fans. There are other WRs I would prefer, but I could see Salas as the pick and I think he could be good in our offense.

If Ryan Williams is at 41, he will be a Redskin.

When did Chekwa get surgically attached to Oakland? Seems that's the consensus 3rd round pick.

I think at about the same time as he ran one of the fastest 40's of the corners at the Combine.

7.San Francisco- QB Jake Locker Washington
45.San Francisco 49ers- OLB Brooks Reed Arizona
76.San Francisco 49ers- WR Edmond Gates Abilene Christian
108.San Francisco 49ers- NT Jerrell Powe Ole Miss
115.San Francisco 49ers(f/SD)- C Brandon Fusco Slippery Rock
141.San Francisco 49ers- CB Curtis Marsh Utah State
174.San Francisco 49ers- ILB Mike Mohamed California
190.San Francisco 49ers(f/SEA)- S Chris Conte California
211.San Francisco 49ers- DE Martin Parker Richmond
231.San Francisco 49ers(f/NYJ/DET)- S Andrew Rich BYU
239.San Francisco 49ers(COMP)- WR Darvin Adams Auburn
250.San Francisco 49ers(COMP)- FB Owen Marecic Stanford
251.Tennessee Titans(COMP)- WR Aldrick Robinson SMU

Still unsure where you're going with the Niners. Two Safeties seems like a stretch with Dashon Goldson, Reggie Smith, Taylor Mays, and Curtis Taylor all in their first 4 seasons. It would also be very surprising to see three WR's drafted considering that Morgan, Crabtree, Ginn, Zeigler and Williams are all very young.

I expect the team to go CB heavy, and will likely grab a TE.

Here's your last version...

7.San Francisco 49ers- LB Von Miller Texas AM
45.San Francisco 49ers- WR Greg Little North Carolina
76.San Francisco 49ers- QB Andy Dalton TCU
108.San Francisco 49ers- RB Jordan Todman Connecticut
115.San Francisco 49ers(f/SD)- OG Andrew Jackson Fresno State
141.San Francisco 49ers- CB Davon House New Mexico State
174.San Francisco 49ers- DE Martin Parker Richmond
190.San Francisco 49ers(f/SEA)- FB Owen Marecic Stanford
211.San Francisco 49ers- LB Derrell Smith Syracuse
231.San Francisco 49ers(f/NYJ/DET)- DE Brandon Bair Oregon
239.San Francisco 49ers(comp)- S Kevin Rutland Missouri
250.San Francisco 49ers(comp)- LB Jonas Mouton Michigan

Here's how I look at it...

Von Miller > Brooks Reed
Greg Little > Edmond Gates
Andy Dalton ~ Jake Locker
4th rounders Kendall Hunter and Jerrell Powe (Powe is a bigger "need")
Andrew Jackson ~ Brandon Fusco (Neither would start)
Davon House > Curtis Marsh (Why wait till pick 141 to address CB in BOTH drafts?)
Martin Parker in both mocks but value is better at 211, obviously.
Marecic in both as well, but 60 selections different???

Thats a pretty good Ravens mock but could be so much better. Harris doesnt add much to our secondary. Jah Reid is a better prospect IMO than Hairston. We dont need to draft 2 safeties or another mediocre ILB in Moten

It would be some much better if it went like this:
1. Justin Houston
2. Leonard Hankerson
3. Davon House
4. Jah Reid
5. Deunta Williams
5. Jake Kirkpatrick
6. Bruce Miller (who is a DE/OLB not an ILB)
6. Ronald Johnson
7. Stevan Ridley

This would address our needs better with better players IMO

I decided i was not real happy with my last 7 Round Mock and i decided to just strap it and start a new and the fact that i had a big fail and forgot about Adrian Clayborn. I decided to also try some new picks and tried to fill team needs. I am happier with this one then the last one.

6.Cleveland Browns- DE J.J. Watt Wisconsin - Fills a need

37.Cleveland Browns- OG Danny Watkins Baylor - Unless he plays RT, bad pick. No need for 2nd round Guard when we got holes that need filled with starters. We are pretty set at Guard. DT, RT, Can't miss ILB would make a ton more sense.

70.Cleveland Browns- OLB Mason Foster Washington - Not a good position of need for us at this point. Position doesn't seem overly needed right now. We have multiple LB'ers on roster as is (Don't know if all will stay on roster as we're switching schemes) Doesn't seem like this would upgrade us.

102.Cleveland Browns- ILB Kelvin Sheppard LSU - Same as previous pick.

137.Cleveland Browns- WR Austin Pettis Boise State - I can get on board with this pick

168.Cleveland Browns(f/DEN)- OT Willie Smith East Carolina - Position of need, but could easily be addressed earlier.

170.Cleveland Browns- S Eric Hagg Nebraska - Fills a need, sort of. We have a need for a instant upgrade to pair with Ward. We have plenty of guys that can fill in for now and play STs. Don't really like this one as it doesn't look to be an upgrade over Elam.

248.Cleveland Browns(COMP)- DE Ryan Winterswyk Boise State - Always nice to have plenty of DL around when switching schemes. Pathetically enough, he may make roster due to us not having 4-3 ends on roster as it stands.

If our actual draft ends up like this, I'll cry, and not tears of joy. We need to hit on our 1st three picks.

I really think New England would go with Jordan or Castonzo or Pouncey over Smith. They have a history of drafting players who played left tackle in college, and also seniors/team captains. I'd go with Jordan even though you have Wilkerson at #28, which is also an awesome pick. I'd go with Watkins at #33, he seems tailor made for NEw England in his temperament. Also a college LT. Boling is great. Love the Hunter pick. Shareece Wright has some character concerns, I'd go with Moffitt there. Long term starter, senior, captain, versatile, gritty, etc. Dwayne Harris is good, but Pettis might bring more to the offense. I could see Sands. Zack Williams isn't bad.
