Position wise can't argue with who the Saitns get.

Give the Pats D.Moch in the 3rd over Jerrigan and I might not flip out.
We have no starter on the team right now opposite Cunningham.
Plus, the Pats don't need another short quick WR on the roster. We're full of those

Solid Titans mock, besides the 3rd. Replace the 3rd with Quan Sturdivant, Greg Jones, Chris Carter, Moffitt, or Herzlich.

first and second round picks are awesome, third rounders are less.

LeShoure doesnt fit a need, doesnt fit in the offense either. Go with a SLB like Moch or Carter there.

Jenkins is not a bad pick but you have Kenrick Ellis on your board still who would just be so much better

Nice job bro... I like the new look defense after this mock, and I like Reed in the second, however I think they could go Ponder or Rudolph (Rudolph seems very unlikely unless they QB in round 1). As it is, I think that would be a very productive draft. Watching every LSU game last year, I would love to get the best overall and most important players from their defense last year, getting the best player in the draft doesnt hurt either.

Rounds two and three for the Bears are great. Round one, however, is not. Solder is not a great fit for the Bears offense.

Wow ... 1st mock I've see with Bowers hanging around for Detroit @ 13. Nice!

Also, how much talent is that New England bounty you have them snatching!?!?! Dang ... Not fair, rich get richer.

jrdrylie, this is why I'm unsure as to which lineman to give the Bears. I know some Bears fans like Sherrod, while others like Solder. I know that they should go OT with the first pick, but which player is throwing me off. What kind of tackles do the Bears need, or typically go for?

yeah, after completing the reviews for each team I realized how much talent the Patriots acquire. I was pretty upset with myself for giving them all that, seeing as how the Bills play them twice a year, but that's how it fell. And after Bowers' pro day debacle, I see him falling quite far and if he can bounce back, he and Suh would be downright scary.

F'ing Chekwa in the 3rd again. It's like that's the first slot people fill in now.

What position, or player would you like more in that case?

That'd be an awesome Chiefs 3rounder.

What did you think about Taylor/Smith? Good picks, or should I have gone a different route?

Yeah, that was what I was thinking. I honestly believe that the Bills will go BPA, and that just happens to be PP. Then Sheppard in the 3rd seemed like a perfect fit, as Nix/Gailey hyped up him up during the Senior Bowl and said without saying it, that they will come away with him at some point in the draft. I thought about Ponder in the 2nd, seeing as how Gailey tried recruiting him out of high school, but I'm not so sure he's that 'Franchise QB' that you take a risk on. I feel like I'd rather wait 'til next year to get our guy at the top of the draft (I don't like Gabbert this year) and draft another developmental guy in the later rounds ala Levi Brown. It would be nice to have a situation where our QB from the 2012 draft can step into a situation like the Jets had with Sanchez (good Oline/great defense). If we could get a solid RT in free agency, and some vet 3-4 depth, I think the team could turn around real quickly. And I like Rudolph, but it doesn't seem like Gailey will go out and get a top TE and will only utilize them if they are with the team he acquires (Gonzalez in KC)

Other than the Jerrigan in the 3rd, what did you think about the rest? I didn't think that a mishap in the 3rd would ruin the draft of Cam Jordan, Carimi and Ingram.. OLB must be the largest need for you guys, then?

If the top 9 played out like that, the Redskins are trading down, which is likely anyway.

Also, if Ryan Williams is at 41, he'll be a Redskin.

I hate predicting trades because fans of every team say that their team is most likely to trade down/up (I do the same thing) so I just avoid them altogether. And I'll keep the Ryan Williams thing in mind for the next draft. Is RB a greater need for you guys than OLB?

The Bears need help on the offensive line from day one. Sherrod could do that. Solder will likely take some time develop. read Scott's blog on Solder. It specifically mentions the Bears as a team Solder would not fit with.

The Saints WILL NOT, as I have stated time and time again, pass on Mark Ingram for Cameron Heyward. They will take the BPA and Heyward is not that player. That's not to take anything away from him as I like Heyward and could see him as the pick should the top DEs and Ingram be off the board. But the Saints have a real interest in Ingram and I suspect he would be the pick.

I can live with Wilson in the second round though I think he's a bit stiff and not as instinctual as I would like.

In the third, I would take Kenrick Ellis and Greg Romeus.

1. Mark Ingram
2. Martez Wilson
3a. Kenrick Ellis
3b. Greg Romeus

is greater than

1. Cameron Heyward
2. Martez Wilson
3a. Mikel Leshoure
3b. Jarvis Jenkins

I'm 95% sure they're trading down. ;-)

No, it's not, but OLB might get addressed 10th overall if the guy they want is there. #ThinkRhymesWithSkin

1) b. Harris is a decent pick but id rather have d. Sherrod there.
2) we need a pass rusher from the 5 tech, trevor pryces production is what's missing, were fine at olb other than depth....Leonard Hankerson would be much better.
3) D. House would be the pick in about 10 seconds if still available.

1) D. Sherrod
2) L. Hankerson
3) D. House

Would you say that a pass-rushing DE is a bigger need than WR, or is it mostly just based on value?

Can we have Bailey or Wilson instead?

I honestly had Wilson going to you guys at 46, but I switched in Rudolph later because he fell so ridiculously far and I just can't see that happening. In the next one I'll have him going to you guys, as long as there is no better value

What position, or player would you like more in that case?

Personally, I wouldn't be opposed to reaching for Moffitt a little right there. Fills the hole left by Robert Gallery, and could eventually take over for Samson Satele and give Oakland a drive blocking force at center they haven't had since Barrett Robbins lost his damn mind.

Nice pick with Jordan - Watt would also be really good. Carimi and Ingram are both nice. Hudson works, I might go Boling or Acho there too. Jernigan is good. House is alright, not my favorite. I might go with Doss or something. Overall, nice job.
