Likely my only offering of the year. I try to do one every year for the sake of getting ripped apart. Basically, to justify my "You Raiders mock sucks" posts, if we're being completely honest. To that end, I went a little off the reservation at the top of the draft.

This is my first ever 3 round mock. Research was minimal, so have your best insults ready as you prepare your responses.

Also, for what it's worth, I kinda hate my own Raiders mock. Ain't that about a...

Anyway, let me know what you think. Tell me how badly I screwed your team and why I should never do another mock as long as I live. Or, tell me how much I rock...if you smell what the mock is cookin'.

26. Baltimore Ravens: Brandon Harris - CB
58. Baltimore Ravens: Curtis Brown - CB

Clearly you were telling the truth. I like Harris and Brown as prospects, but neither are what we need in the secondary. We're looking for bigger corners, at the moment we pretty much can't play press coverage effectively and when we play off of opposing receivers the other team utilizes a lot of 3-step drops/quick routes. Coverage against smaller receivers isn't a problem, we need corners to match up with bigger receivers.

Paul I just don't like. He fits the bill as a big deep threat, but he can't catch the ball. I'll pass.

Really like that Pats mock. Especially the first two rounds.
Not a fan of Jerrel Jernigan though. We need a big receiver.
Love G.Little who you have drafted one pick before :(
Replace that with R.Moore S (Meriweather issues) and this mock is damn near perfect

I can dig all of those Patriots picks except Brewer, who doesn't seem like a good fit here at either from a skillset standpoint or an intangibles/work ethic/chemistry/etc. standpoint. Someone like Clint Boling would be a good OL in that spot. Very nice job overall.

garbage Lions draft

I'd hate this Phins draft TBH. OT not really on the board at 15 i dont think as Long/Carey one of the best combos in the league. Hate DeMarco Murray and he's actually one of the few RBs Miami has shown zero interest in. We tend to avoid players with injury histories and I don't see him even being on our board honestly.

Well, I am finally shocked. I found a raider fan that can write meaningful comments. KC's mock will have us dominating the west for years.

If we do take a QB at 16, it will be Andy Dalton -- not Christian Ponder.

The Lions defense isn't good enough to go offensive line in the first two rounds. I like all three players but I'd go CB in the second.

You really think the Falcons will pick a guy with off field issues?

IT DOESN'T MATTER WHAT YOU THINK!!!

Seriously though, the Falcons put a heavy emphasis on character.

Because you're not doing trades, I think this makes sense for SF. But if trades were involved, I think the Niners would have to trade up rather than get stuck with Ricky Stanzi. Nab a Dalton, Ponder, or Kaepernick and this draft looks a lot brighter.

Like both the Reed and Peterson picks.

Pretty epic 49er draft if you ask me.

Green and Rackley are fine but Mallet is pretty turriable he is not a WC QB and has no mobility which he wont last in Cincy because OL is pretty turriable.

Elway's interest in Gabbert/Newton is a smokescreen. He wants to trade down.

Well played, sir. And a valid point I didn't consider.

Really wanted to give both SF and Washington a QB, but the board just kept working against them. Every round saw me think "Maybe I could just do a couple trades. 9ers, Skins, Titans, and Bengals all really need to come away with a QB." But, alas, I did not. I think only the Skins really got the shaft, though.

Green and Rackley are fine but Mallet is pretty turriable he is not a WC QB and has no mobility which he wont last in Cincy because OL is pretty turriable.

But he has that red flag collection that Marvin Lewis loves. ;)

Don't need an OL that high or another injury-prone RB.

Jake Locker and Ryan Williams instead please!

QFT.

This would be just an absolute worst case scenario draft for Denver. We have the most abysmal defense in the history of defenses, and so we waste two premium picks in the most stacked defensive draft in recent history on a QB and a RB with knee issues? That's just insane.

A+ on the Vikings draft. No QB in the first 2 rounds is a bummer, but getting Quinn and Aaron Williams is money.

I seriously doubt the Jags would draft Baldwin. Everything I hear is that he was not very popular in the locker room. Gene Smith got rid of all the teams potential locker room problems. I doubt they bring in another.

Also hate the Solder-to-Bears pick. He does not fit the Chicago system at all.

Chekwa isnt a 2nd rounder imo..that pick HAS to be lance kendricks or marcus gilbert though....really hurts missing out on brown and dowling.

Pouncey and Bailey are sweet sexual magic of a mock in their respective rounds

Didn't know about the arthritis at the time of this mock.

Still got a pair of quality DTs, though.
