Out of curiosity, who would you have wanted with the players left on the board?

I'd rather stay at 12 and pick Willis.

No way the Eagles take Rouse. He's pretty much Michael Lewis. Also it's very unlikely we will go WR especially with Michael Griffin still on the board.

If you have your heart set on Griffin, that's fine. But to say what's likely and what's not... I'm not buying your expertise, especially after calling Rouse white. ...did you know he's a bad ass muthafkr on the field? Rouse is a better SS prospect than Griffin. Griffin is probably the slightly better FS, but you have Dawkins.

I also would recommend opening your eyes to other players in the draft than setting your heart on one player and ignoring other options.

Can't say I like any of the Packers picks. We would have 3 first round linebackers, and while it looks good it doesn't make much sense. One of them would nly be playing 2 downs as one would have to come out for nickle. If we were set every where else fine, but we are in no position to go LB in the first. Also while not a stud Poppinga is serviceable and improving.

Round 2, not really liking Brian Leonard there. Yes we cut Henderson and have a ****** backfield right now but I can't see TT going with a FB in the second. we could go RB with a guy like Tony Hunt or Antonio Pittman, but I don't see Leonard as a Packer

Round 3. Eh, you can keep Jones. I would rather have the third and I''m sure Thompson would too. Also since we'll probably get a RB in the draft there wouldn't be much room for him.

very interesting, enjoyed the trade scenarios, but there is no way the eagles select a wr day one let alone round one. There are too many wr on the roster, and a lot invested in brown and curtis, and the coaches love baskett.

I have to agree with my fellow Eagles compadre on this. We are open to other options, but if Griffin is available, we will definitely take him. Safety is our biggest need and Griffin is the type of player to fill the hole at SS. I know Rouse is a better pure SS, but he is just like Mike Lewis, (but he definitely isn't white though) because he is great against the run, but bad against the pass. Griffin brings the perfect blend for what our defense is used for. As for our second pick, we may go LB (most likely), DE, CB, TE, or RB, depending on who is available.

I also would recommend opening your eyes to other players in the draft than setting your heart on one player and ignoring other options.

Haha my mistake on the white part, I confused him with some of the other safeties after the big 4 Landry, Nelson, Griffin, and Merriweather.

Also, where did I say that I would only be happy with Griffin? I could give you plenty of players who would be more sensible picks for the Eagles than Dwayne Bowe. If they were to even take a WR which is pretty unlikely after the signing of Kevin Curtis, I would much rather have us take Ted Ginn. Curtis is now our oldest receiver at the age of 28, so I'm sorry if I see the signing of a WR in the first round "unlikely." Lawrence Timmons would also be a better pick for us there.

Aaron Rouse. He is not agile, doesn't have great instincts, doesn't have good ball skills, and is just overall not that great in coverage. That is Michael Lewis except Lewis has good ball skills. If an impact safety like Michael Griffin is available in the first round, we will most likely take him since our defense relies heavily on the safeties. Michael Griffin would be fine at SS for us he would probably be better off gaining a little more weight, but he would be fine.

So don't get all riled up just because I said I didn't like your picks for the Eagles. I don't ignore other options, it's just Dwayne Bowe is a ****** one.

The Packers's do not need Puz. They have 2 very capable LBs who are above average starters in Barnet and Hawk. They have a plethora of contenders for the strongside.

Anthony Spencer and Alan Branch for the Texans. I think I would go crazy, and we have a 3rd, not a 2nd rounder. Maybe look to wide receiver, since we only have 1 really, oline, cause we don't have anyone very good, safety, cause we don't have anyone good, or corner, cause we need someone opposite Dunta. Branch is OK even though I don't like him as a prospect, it fills a need, but we already have 4 ends. No mas.

Ted Ginn to the Ravens. That's pretty bad. A Deep threat is not what we need. Demetrius Williams is our man there, and really we don't need another, cause we never throw downfield and we only carry usually 3 WRs on the active roster. If Mason is traded, then maybe it could happen, but Ginn isn't the right guy for the system. Aaron Sears in late round 2 however is great.

I don't think Tank Tyler will fall to Dallas in Round 2, maybe just cause I hate Dallas. Takeo Spikes is not enough to jump up to the 5th pick overall.

Acquired Alan Faneca from the Steelers in exchange for Randy Moss. - Awful. Steelers wouldn't put up with Moss' crap. They are best when they are run run run. Getting rid of their best lineman and getting another wideout is going in the wrong direction.

Marshawn is too low for my liking. The Pack would just take him at 16 instead of your manipulative way of getting your Cowboys another 3rd rounder. Pack has needs at safety. Try Lynch, Leonard is OK, and the Piscatelli or something, any DB.

Bowe isn't the guy for the Eagles in round 1 in my opinion. They have 5 capable receivers, and their system makes it easy to get big chunks of yardage.

This really isn't a good one.

I was just liking the thought of Hawk - Barnett - Posluszny together since they are stuck with DEs that they won't let go of who can't stop the run to save their lives.

No 2nd rounder. My bad. 4 DEs? What is that supposed to mean? Power in numbers? They suck. You have spent 2 first rounders on that DL and it's not working. You need to surround them with talent to get the most out of them.

Ted Ginn to the Ravens. That's pretty bad. A Deep threat is not what we need. Demetrius Williams is our man there, and really we don't need another, cause we never throw downfield and we only carry usually 3 WRs on the active roster. Ravens need playmakers. Period.

It's easy to hate Dallas, so I don't blame you.

Probably right on Takeo.

The Steelers won't give him the money he wants. Getting anything is better than him sitting out the year. The Steelers still miss Plax. Their offense was pathetic last year.

Marshawn is too low for my liking. The Pack would just take him at 16 instead of your manipulative way of getting your Cowboys another 3rd rounder. Pack has needs at safety. Try Lynch, Leonard is OK, and the Piscatelli or something, any DB.

You can scratch the Steelers/Raiders trade. The Steelers put more stock in players character than any team in the league. They would just not have a guy like Moss. They may occasionally wind up with a guy with character issues, just never on purpose. As a Steelers fan, I would hate that move.

lol, I knew someone would say his name. Difference with Porter is he's the ultimate team guy. He was the leader of that team for years. Until he beat up Levi Jones he never got in trouble with the law. Always gave 110% on the field. Really in the past he's only been guilty of speaking his mind when maybe he should have been bitting his toung. Good thought though, I can understand where you were coming from with that trade. He's just not a Steelers guy.

Don't like Greg Olsen to the Pats. I mean, I am sure he's going to be awesome, and I'd probably love to have him on the team, but Ben Watson was a first, David Thomas was a third last year and we just signed Kyle Brady. I know the Pats take best available, and they have a history of taking a lot of TE's, but I just don't see it happening in round one this year. I'd see us taking Aaron Ross, Jon Beason or Lawrence Timmons before a TE...
