Nailed the first Redskins pick if they stick at 10.

Ingram, not so much. Ryan Williams.

Ryan Williams over Ingram, serious?

Dead.

His knee is costing him. He's not graded in first round on a lot of boards and no longer even considered number 1 back anymore more.

This is one of the best mocks I have seen in years. Well done.

However, my experience tells me that there are some problems.
Cincy has always used the draft to solve their QB woes and what is the purpose of drafting a WR if you don't have a QB to get him the ball.
I'm hearing that Tyron Smith's knee is still swelling up which could mean a slight fall, certainly out of the top 10.
I'm hearing that Houston is switching to a 3-4, LB is already a strength on that team but CB is a real weakness. Cannot see Prince getting by them.
I'd say that from what I'm hearing Bowers will likely end up in round 2, sad but draftniks just have to learn to let go.
Just not sure Clayborn fits in a Tampa 2 defense. Not a good fit IMO.
Buffalo is a strange franchise with a long record of losing its top FA's to other teams. This has forced them to use the draft to fill the holes created when a FA leaves and has restricted their trading of picks, since every pick is needed to keep their roster somewhat filled. Hence, while the trade looks OK on paper, I doubt you'll ever see Buffalo move up in a draft.
I just cannot see either Luiget or Austin out of round 1, IMO, you'll have to find a spot for both.

Anyways, solid effort and worth a reply.

Yeah, but Williams has an injury history as well along with fumblitis in college.

Yes, Williams has an injury history, but none have the lingering effects as Ingram's could. And fumbling can be cured. He's high on their board. He's the back they want.

I don't like the Kaepernick pick, but I can't say I would be surprised if it happened. I like the Dareus / Ballard combo, though.

Read a report today that there is a head coach for an AFC West team has Kaepernick rated as the No. 1 quarterback in this draft. I am downright terrified that it might be us. I'm just hoping that the potential first round pick buzz comes true so that we never get the chance.

Id prefer Heyward over Wilkerson but im okay with Wilkerson. Foster in the second is a slam dunk

Its getting to the point I believe Foster will be a Saint.

It was one or the other, but I went with Wilkerson as he seemed like a better more athletic fit. But I can realistically see either pick.

Ingram, not so much. Ryan Williams.

Ingram seems to be like more of a Shanahan back but I can see either one. Ingram is just such good value 10 picks into the 2nd round, that if I had any type of RB need, I would take him there. I think Ingram is a top player in this draft, and as long as the medical won't cut his career to 2 years. If you can get 5-6 years of a RB, that isn't bad at all.

But like I said, either one I can see, more of the RB slotted to them than anything

I couldn't slot them with one, although I considered it at #4, and I couldn't find a trade up. But without a QB, I'd be pretty happy with Jones and Austin being 2 very talented players. Although I like Green at WR more than Jones, I think the Bengals will go with Jones.

Rumors are surfacing that Elways really likes Kaepernick and on top of that rumors are out there surfacing that 1 AFC West team has him as their #1 QB (could be OAK too). I don't like the Kaepernick pick for them but I can see it happening realistically.

I'd also be happy with Dareus/Ballard. You guys really need to improve your defense and 3 picks in the first 2 rounds could really help you do that. If you don't waste a pick on Kaepernick like I think you may do, I think a guy like Martez Wilson would make 3 great additions.

Thanks alot for the response. I didn't think it was that good, but it is good to know that is what at least decent.

As for your comments, all are on target. Starting with the first one.
I agree Cincy may use #4 on a QB and thought long and hard about Gabbert, but I think they'd rather go with Newton if he were there but I don't think he will be there which is a problem for them. I also looked at a trade up for them but couldn't find one, so they were stuck with 2 pretty good football players which isn't too bad.

I have heard about Tyron Smith's knee, but I just think in the end that is Dallas' pick based on Garrett's interest, and the huge need to protect Romo.

HOU does indeed need a CB, and it was hard not to give them Prince. But I have heard lately that 3-4 DE and LB are top priorities for them, and they were able to get Dowling in the 2nd round at CB, which is good value if he stays healthy. I can also seem them going Watt/Jordan/Kerrigan/Quinn (if he is there), but my hunch is they address the front seven with their 1st roudn pick.

Bowers may very well fall out of the 1st, more likely the top 20 but people are saying 3 names for MIN if not a QB (Bowers, Quinn, Kerrigan), and the only one on the board is Bowers, but I can see Locker/Mallett there too, which I think is laughable but it's possible.

I am not sure to be honest if Clayborn fits Tampa's defense either, but I gave them the best DE, but it could honestly be a few different options or a trade up to get who they want (3-5 picks up).

I agree BUF has a ton of needs, but if they have a chance to get the quarterback they think can lead the franchise, which Ponder may be, then I think you take that for a 2nd and 3rd.

I had a hard time letting Liuget out of the 1st definitely and Austin a bit too, but I think Austin is likely a late 1st-early 2nd then a definite 1st. Liuget should be in the 1st but I couldn't find a spot for him in this mock.

I'm with you, up until Martez Wilson. I think he lacks the intangibles and leadership skills to man the middle in John Fox's defense. He seems like a D.J. Williams clone. Great athlete, horrible instincts. I'd prefer a guy like Mason Foster, and Denver has shown considerable interest in him.

Couldn't find a trade up for you, but Houston where you are picking in the 2nd round is great value, although he continues to fall, so he may even go past you guys. I can see you guys trading up for POnder or someone like that very easily

Why would i be happy with Dan Lefevour as the starting QB? Does not matter what WR they get in the 1st if they don't have a QB throwing to him what is the point.

Well, IMO, there is little doubt at this point that these 2 will be 1st rounders.
Luiget has been a riser getting 15-20 talk and Austin even today on NFLN was being described as a better overall prospect than Fairley and a better prospect than Quinn. Pretty high praise!
Both have dominated in the post season.

Most definitely. I have lately had Liuget in the Top 20 but for some reason had trouble finding a spot for him in this mock. I like Austin as a player a lot too, but I still think Late 1st-Early 2nd is his ceiling.
