Green is solid in the 1st and Liuget is fine with all the QBs off the board.

Due to the Pats not doing business with Tom Condon, JJ Watt's agent, I doubt he'll be selected.
I think C.Jordan or C.Heyward are more likely (Heyward being my fav 5-tech for the Pats)
Swap out R.Cobb for G. Little and the mock is pretty good.
The pats have enough little receivers. They need a big physical presence.
Little fits the mold to the T

Not liking this draft...Dalton at 16 is way too high

That's a very fair trade too. You guys get your qb. Pats get their olb they were probably considering at 33. And, a 2nd next year. I like the Pats mock too. I'd prefer Cam Jordan over JJ Watt. But, he'd be my 2nd choice so no problem.

I agree, the rush on QB's is based on rumours about them all moving up, however it is my experience over many years, that these rumours usually prove to be totally false. By this stage in the post season, player movement is very limited no matter what you hear with only injuries driving players up and down team boards. i.e. Bowers drop re: moving down team boards and Bruce Carter's working out which could cause him to move up some.

Not a terrible Denver mock, but I think Moore and Wilson are supremely overrated. Austin and Foster would be much better.

If we take Dalton at any point in the draft, I'll kill Gene Smith. If we take him at 16, I will burn down Everbank Field with Gene Smith inside.

I wouldn't rule out either Heyward or Jordan being a Patriots fan, I think that the agent concern is legitimate, but with a rookie scale likely encorporated before draft picks can sign, then it may not make a difference. But if that is a factor, then I think that I'd go Jordan at 17, or maybe a trade down for Heyward, who I also think is a great scheme fit for the Pats.

I think while Cobb fits as a slot guy, he also can play outside the numbers, and for a smaller bodied kid has good strength, good quickness, speed, COD, and route running ability, along with strong hands. But I can see a guy like Little too.

Same could be said for Alualu last year. I know a Jags fan who says this is possible, and also there have been many rumors about QB's moving up and all over the place, maybe a trade down is more possible then Dalton, but Gene Smith isn't afraid to take the guy he wants if he likes him, instead of trading down and getting stuck without them (ie. Alualu last year again)

Agreed, as a Pats fan, very fair swap and a swap that BB would look to do. I think that JJ Watt is a better scheme fit, but Jordan is also a good choice and offers versitility within our scheme, I can see either one

Fair enough, and definitely went under consideration. But I just think with Dareus, Moore, Wilson, you add Speed, Strength and good talent right up the middle of your defense (DT, ILB, FS) where you need it the most. Rebuild your defense with youth with just 3 picks. The players specifically chosen with those picks can possibly change, but I think they will address defense with the first 3, and at the very least ILB and DT. The 3rd choice is questionable whether it's another DT like Austin or Ballard, or a DE, FS, etc.

Might want to get some equiptment ready in case. Don't want you to be unprepared.
