I'd prefer C.Heyward over Camiri.
Heyward is my fav 5-tech for the Pats system in this draft
while I'd be completely content with Sherrod at 33

Newton would make me put holes in my wall.

We are not picking Dalton at 16.

04-23-2011, 09:00 PM
So the Bears would have #50, #61, and #62? I could really live with that :)

We are not picking Dalton at 16.

Yes we are, and then hopefully the Ponder hype will stop.

Newton would make me put holes in my wall.

If I were a Bengal fan I'd do the same thing.

But do you think in that scenario, the Bengals would draft Cam Newton?

I honesty don't know what they would do if AJ Green is off the Board. Hopefully they would trade down. But i could see Newton if Mike Brown falls in love with him like he did with Akili Smith but i still don't think they would take a QB in the 1st because i believe that Mike Brown is holding out hope that Carson is bluffing. If he is not it will prolly be Luck, Jones or Barkley in Cincy next year if they don't address QB this year and Mike Brown would trade Carson next year.

I highly doubt the Vikings will trade their 1st and 2nd and go up 5 spots to get Gabbert. Spielman the Vikings GM is very high on having lots of draft picks and if we were to trade, It would to trade back.

with PP off the board thats a great trade down for the Niners..especially to still land Prince...well done

04-24-2011, 12:11 AM
I like this Vikings mock. Plus, even if Rick Spielman is a fan of having a lot of picks, this would still allow us to have 8 picks in the draft... thats plenty

Dicey trade for SF moving all the way down to 12... it worked out in your mock because they still got Prince, but I'd be really nervous about doing that in the real thing because I think the odds are pretty good both he and Quinn would be gone. Then they wouldn't just be on plan B, but all the way down to plan C... and I frankly have no idea what that would be for SF... Aldon Smith maybe? Cam Jordan? Hope I don't have to find out.

To sum up for SF:

Plan A: Peterson/Miller
Plan B: Quinn/Amukamara/Green
Plan C: ????

I'm just worried that that trade in particular could really take the Niners out of the running for any of the top guys on their board, even though it didn't in your mock.

Yup a solid SF.Tho I agree with OP here about the scary though of maybe Dallas picking a CB.Other then it is a spot to land more picks in round to get our QB then or trade up if we have in front of some one.So nice job.

On a side note.People should stop mocking CK and Dalton in the first it is just NOT going to happen.Way to high either of those QB.Specially when Mallet is still on the board. You people are nuts.

Andy Dalton going 16? You being a Jags fan makes me laugh because I wouldnt want my team taking him that high.

I like the eagles pick, thats who I want.

Why are people pretending to know what the Jags are not gonna do? Hello people...Tyson Alualu #10 overall.
