Green is solid in the 1st.

It will be Ponder or Dalton in the 2nd for the Bengals with the question weather Palmer is bluffing or not.

Jenkins is fine in the 3rd

The Bengals need a safety more then in a Corner in the 4th.

Like the Brandon Burton pick for Seattle. As for Locker i doubt whether he would be there, i guess it depends on what teams like Tennessee, Washington and Minnesota do.

04-24-2011, 05:42 PM
Not a bad Oak mock... I like Wisniewski in the 2nd, in the 3rd I think Moffitt would be a great selection, we have other needs other than WR.. and Kerley is just another guy. Other choices could be Johnny Patrick/Fua/Herzlich.

very nice job on the saints, this draft would make me very happy

04-24-2011, 05:53 PM
Thats the best 49er draft i think ive seen yet

I hope the Ravens taking Reed in round 1 then Sheard in round 2 is just a mistake on your part. One of them is fine, but taking both doesn't make sense at all. Realistically Jarret Johnson's role probably isn't going to decrease significantly, and unless he moves to ILB (like I think he should but that's just my opinion) there won't be a ton of playing time for another DE/OLB let alone two. We're still going to upgrade the pass-rush though, so either Reed or Sheard is fine.

Gates is excellent in the third round.

Williams is alright in the fourth. Not a great pick, but not a bad value if he can recover from his injury.

04-24-2011, 06:22 PM
So I understand that the Eagles have corner problems but 4 of them in the first 4 rounds are you ******* high?

1) Jimmy Smith- Good pick, this is who I want so no problems here.
2) Clint Boling- Fine good job addressing our O-Line need.
3) Johnny Patrick- Why? Give us a guy like Mason Foster here, help us our in the linebacking corps.
4a) Shareece Wright- being a USC fan I dont mind this guy, and it might not be terrible to take another one for depth.
4b) Curtis Marsh- Why? We dont need a 4th Corner in 4 rounds, in this situation I could see them going with a pass rusher/tweener type player in Jeremy Beal or a all purpose back like Quizz or Demarco Murray.

04-24-2011, 06:32 PM
36. Broncos- SS DeAndre McDaniel, Clemson
46. Broncos (f/Miami) TE Kyle Rudolph, Notre Dame

Not a fan of either of these picks. McDaniel doesn't belong on the fringes of the first round at all. An injury prone TE in an offense that makes little use of TE's beyond blocking is a big waste of a premium pick too.

Ballard or Austin at one of those spots. Sherrod as a wild card for #36, and Wilson or Foster at 46 would be good picks if Sherrod isn't picked at 36. We need 2 DT's in those top 3 picks though, we don't currently even have 1 starting DT on our roster.

In the 3rd, I like Bailey. Alternatively we could go with Sturdivant, or there's some potential that an RB or a TE could be taken there if we get 3 defensive starters in our first 3 picks.

As njx9 already pointed out, our front 7 is the worst in the league, so that's where the focus has to go - especially seeing as how this is such a deep draft at the positions we need.

04-24-2011, 06:34 PM
couple suggestions for KC.1.) give us Hudson over Baldwin.two biggest needs are C and NT and Gates or Ellis over Fua

04-24-2011, 06:35 PM
First mock I've seen with Mike Pouncey in the 2nd round.

04-24-2011, 06:35 PM
Give us Ponder instead of Wilson in the second round and that's a great Vikings mock.

04-24-2011, 08:26 PM
The Saints will not take Cam Heyward over Mark Ingram. Right now, the pick would likely come down to Ingram, Clayborn and Wilkerson, assuming all three are on the board. Ingram would be the selection.

In the second, I would not be upset with Christian Ballard. But chances are, they would go with either Mason Foster in that position or they might just opt for Kyle Rudolph who "could" be the highest rated player on the board. They have looked at TEs in the draft and so pairing Rudolph with Graham would not be out of the question, even if it meant taking two offensive players back-to-back.

In the third, I like Quan Sturdivant. I would imagine that either he or Mason Foster could be the pick. But seeing as to how your draft falls, I think they take Kenrick Ellis here and then Mason Foster or Studivant with their second third rounder.

Take it for what it is worth.

absolutely fantastic ravens mock draft. you sir, did a swell job.

04-24-2011, 08:49 PM
Another great mock for SF.Hit all needs early and almost dead on.Too bad missing out on Ponder just by two picks. In real time tho I see us trading ahead of Sea some where to get our guy.Lamo at Gabbert going first though ha ha.I will laugh my ass if that happens.

The Seattle Times' Danny O'Neill does not believe the Seahawks have any particular interest in Jake Locker.
"If Seattle is really interested, it has done a pretty good job hiding it," according to O'Neill. Locker has been connected to the Seahawks in some mock drafts, but that appears to be mostly due to the fact that he's a local product and plays a position of need. Pete Carroll knows Locker well from their time in the Pac 10, but would have to trade up for the likely top-16 pick.

Also note that Pete Carroll recruited Locker to USC as a safety. I doubt he'll now bet his second chance in the NFL on a guy he didn't think could play QB in the Pac-10.

Decent Denver draft. Foster or Carter over Wilson and it's borderline perfect. Love Allen Bailey in the third round.

04-24-2011, 10:46 PM
Ryan Kerrigan - No

04-25-2011, 08:10 AM
I only looked at the first 2 rounds for the Falcons, but you've got us taking a player who can literally only play the right side defensive end position due to physical restraints, when we need a left defensive end, then you've got us taking a 4th round TE in the 2nd round. I know Scott mocked Clayborn to Atlanta, but that's just not going to happen, character issues, and physical issues will prevent this from happening.

Oh, and it gets worse, the Falcons like Demarco Murray so much they drafted him twice...

04-25-2011, 08:17 AM
Decent Cowboys mock, not flashy, but solid.

04-25-2011, 08:47 AM
Terrible Bears draft. Chris Hairston in the 2nd? Every pick is a 20+ pick reach.

04-25-2011, 09:50 AM
No way Jags taking Mallett.....Jags would take Kaepernick over Mallett

id rather have the steelers take little in the 3rd and anyone but ziemba in the 4th.

I put the chances of Buffalo taking Fairley with the third pick no matter who goes 1st and 2nd overall at 1% (anything can happen). Nix is historically not a fan of 1 year wonders, and historically has never taken a "character" concern in the first round while with S.D. and now with Buffalo. If I had to bet on one of the following 4 players I would split and go Newton (concerns are different) or Peterson, Peterson being the top prospect, and Newton being a great fit. With a gun to my head, Peterson.
I think Cannon is a good fit if he checks out medically, but there has been a ton of Ponder talk, and he has spent the most time of any QB with Buffalo this off season. Dalton is a possibiltiy, Sherrod is a guy I love who fits, and Ijlana fits as well.
I would love to get Rudolph in the 3rd, but dont see him falling that far.
Kaepernick in the 4th would be fine by me, unless they grab someone in the 1st or 2nd at QB, then I would think Chekwa or Fua.
Love getting Guy in the 4th.
IMO, Peterson, Ponder, Rudolph, Fua, and Guy would be a solid draft.

A better Bears draft is

1. Pouncey
2. Baldwin
3. Nevis
4. Ziemba
