List your Top 5 for 2012.

Here is my current top 5

Andrew Luck QB Stanford
Matt Barkley QB USC
Alshon Jeffery WR South Carolina
Jonathan Martin LT Stanford
Dre Kirkpatrick CB Alabama

This week I'm scouting Andrew Luck, Matt Barkley, Alshon Jeffery, Jonathan Martin, and Drew Kirkpatrick. My question is who are your top 5 players excluding those 5. I want to gain a fans perspective and understand what everyone at draft countdown thinks of these prospects. The Luck report should be up shortly.

Not sure I'd be advertising your site here but if you do intend on scouting these players you may want to make sure their names are all spelt correctly. Not sure how good a player Drew Kirkpatrick will be in the NFL

2. Matt Kalil, OT, USC
3. Marcus Forston, DT, Miami
4. Justin Blackmon, WR, Oklahoma St

I'm very interested to see where Kuechly goes.

I really hope Fortson does as predicted. Sounds like he had a good offseason. He's got what it takes, now can he put it together.

I'm gonna go from 2-6, because pretty much everyone will have Luck at #1 (and rightfully so)

#2 LT Matt Kalil
#3 WR Alshon Jeffrey
#4 QB Matt Barkley
#5 HB Trent Richardson
#6 WR Jeff Fuller

1. Alshon Jeffery
2. Vontaze Burfict
3. Trent Richardson
4. Andrew Luck

Luck's numbers as a soph in the Pac10 were identical to another Pac10 Heisman Trophy quarterback who opted to return to college despite being the consensus #1 overall pick of the draft a few years back. Matt Leinart. Just saying.

So good production is a negative these days. ZOMG!

Matt Leinart played on a loaded USC team, loved being big man on campus and in hindsight never really displayed great leadership qualities. Andrew Luck doesn't have a Reggie Bush or Dwayne Jarrett at Stanford and bypassed millions of dollars this year to complete his education. He also has much better physical tools than Leinart. Realistically the only similarity I see is they are both Pac-10/12 QBs

And it has absolutely no influence or anything to do with Andrew Luck as a pro prospect but thanks for sharing

as for my top 5....

1. Andrew Luck
2. Alshon Jeffery
3. Quinton Coples
4. Justin Blackmon
5. Jonathan Martin
