View Full Version : Looking for Owners/New Dynasty Fantasy Football League

06-30-2011, 07:42 PM
I am starting up a new dynasty fantasy football league. It will have a salary cap, contracts, PPR, IDP, and annual rookie drafts.

There will be 12 teams and each team is allowed 60 active roster players and 8 practice squad players. Each team starts 25 players each week. 1 head coach, 11 offensive players(including offensive linemen), 11 defensive players, a punter, and a kicker.

The league will be run on myfantasyleague.com and I will pay the costs, but any help would be appreciated. There is no payout or prize for the league, unless the owners of the league unanimously votes on it. The league will start in 2011 or 2012 depending on the CBA and how quickly we find owners and complete the inaugural draft.

I currently run a similar league with 10 teams(2 dropped out last minute) at http://www9.myfantasyleague.com/2010/home/76282#0

I am creating another league since that league is with my friends who aren't that active. Therefore, I'm looking for owners who will be active, will stay active, and won't quit because their team sucks and actually stay to try and improve it through transactions.

Currently 3 of the 12 spots are filled, and Shane P. Hallam is in. Leave your e-mail address here or e-mail me at dlien4286@gmail.com and I will send you a copy of the rules. Please only sign up if you are sure you will be active for years. Thanks!

Interested. And are head coaches really that important in a dynasty league?

Head coaches are important. Starting a coach that is not a head coach or on his bye week results in negative points. When starting a coach it's by point differential so if a team wins by 20 points...thats an extra 20 points to your score. If they lose by 20 points...well...that's why you don't sign John Fox.

Right now we have about 5 that are in and 4 that are interested. So about 3 more spots left give or take.

You can send me a copy of the rules @ LS2throwed@yahoo.com.

Im all for new formats, but I'd need to see how some of the other stuff balances out. Seems like it'll be more about luck and chance each week then skill. That's a big point swing for Head Coaches, as well as a full offensive line of individual players.
