I know it's more realistic, but I'm kind of sad that Lattimore lost 5-6 points off his speed overall with these rosters. lol. I havent gotten a chance to test out these new rosters yet, so we'll see what happens. Sanders and Byrd are still too slow. :(

Took Forenci's advice and gave the ball to Lattimore. ;)

It was a rainy game and I kept over throwing wide open receivers, with a clean pocket. Ridiculous. But luckily, the game turned out to be much easier than I imagined.

The game did mess up on me, though. There was a booth review at the end of the 3rd quarter. The clock stayed at 0:00 after that and wouldnt change. FSU ran like 5 more plays during this time period. If this happens, just super sim to the end of the quarter. I had to super sim to the end of the game at the end of the 4th as well...because it did the same thing.

But anyway, I won 38-14. Lattimore had 3 TDs....and my boy Mcevoy had a 30 something yard TD on a QB read. haha. I couldnt get it to work right in practice at all. Just got lucky, I guess. No injuries. YAY.

I'm interested to see if anyone is going to put up nice passing numbers this year. Because so far, from the two games I can see. Our QB numbers blow.

Haha, yeah, I find it almost impossible to pass right now. I'm getting a better feel for it but in my offline dynasty passes will sail all over the damn place.

I'm trying to stay really disciplined about running the ball this year. My preference is to run a spread offense/passing attack but I think that's out of the question until they mess around with the tuners at some point to fix things. Also they need to desperately patch the game. MOTH just listed one of the bugs in the game. Seems like there is a ton of bugs I've encountered this year.

Anyways, is there a particular time that works for you to play our game Sickwithit? I'm busy during the morning/mid-day but I should be around at some point in the afternoon/night.

I actually ran a mock game agaisnt FSU, since I hadnt played any games against the cpu yet. I barely won on a last second FG. So this blow out of sorts was a surprise to me. But I'm happy. Anyway, in that mock game I went 15-20 passing, was feeling pretty good. But I completed under 50% in the game that counted. The LB zone coverage is pretty crazy. They dont pick it off all that much, but they knock everything down, at least. It's pretty tough so far.

Yeah I couldnt believe the last one got in there. I was just gonna run it to the middle of the field to get in good position for the FG and saw Farmar 1 on 1...Farmer is 6'5" with 96 speed so I took the chance. I couldnt believe my back up put it where he did.

Anyway, I played and won my game...but, I probably screwed myself. Instead of kneeling I ran some pointless plays with Lattimore and he was injured on the second to last play. He's out for two weeks, so more than likely out for my game against Menardo. :( So mad. Garcia also got hurt in the game. Broke his wrist, but it just said he was out for the game. What a trooper. I hate injuries. There are always way too many.

Yeah my recruiting has been mediocre as well. Which is pretty bad considering Im the top school in California.

Luckily im pretty high on a lot of players lists and will land some. Im recruiting too many receivers, which has always been a bad habit. My top 2 guys are a freshman and a sophomore, idk why I even have a WR on my board.

At the very least, I'm going to land my number one target. I really need Alshon and Gilmore to come back next year, though. Otherwise WR and CB are going to be pretty damn thin. I seriously have no CBs to take over next year, assuming Gilmore leaves. Thank god, I have at least one more year of Lattimore.

I almost just threw my god damned controller through my TV. I have no idea how I lost that game. Ole Miss just made amazing play after amazing play. Dre Kirkpatrick gets absolutely torched in zero coverage by some random, then Marquis Maze goes down, then they make the single most amazing interception Ive ever seen in a football video game and win on a ******* field goal. Absolutely ridiculous, Im so pissed right now.

Well...I'm not really mad about this one, as soon as we started I knew I couldnt win. That was the laggiest game I've played on 12 by far. There was a 3 second delay every time I handed to Lattimore, I couldnt control my defensive players at all, and I had to drop back like 25 yards to even have a chance to pass the ball. I think the best moment was my like 25 yard punt, though. lol.

I really hope this doesnt continue. Cause I really want to get deep into this dynasty, but that just wasnt fun at all.

GG though, man. I wish I could have just conceded defeat. lol.That was rough. You said it was laggy for you too, though. Not a good sign.

I was skating on ice. lol. I dont even know how you could run the ball, Garcia and Lattimore would freeze for what seemed like a few seconds at every hand off. I couldnt even get to the line of scrimmage. lol.

I just played the stupidest game ever. Felt a lot like that game I lost earlier. It was all cheap stuff. Throwing the ball no where near wide open receivers, Lattimore breaking his foot, and then Alshon Jeffery dropping 5 wide open passes. Wide open. I've never dropped 5 passes with a team, let alone one WR. The best WR in college football at that. :/

Seems like the only way to lose to the cpu, is if the cpu cheats you majorly.

I still won, but it wasnt fun at all.

So things are going well in my dynasty right now. Had a strongish schedule and some impact recruits(Gotta love 6'8 receiving tight ends) ended up going 14-0 as the OC as San Diego State. Pretty happy with that result considering I had gone 11-3 and 12-2 the years prior with some very close loses. Ended up in the Rose Bowl for the second time in three years against a pretty iffy Penn State team and pulled it out pretty easily.

Didn't work out as far as getting the head coaching job there though, they re-upped Rocky Long and I wasn't going to wait around for another three years. Frank Spaziano ended up retiring at Boston College and I took the job despite fielding better offers from a few stronger programs in the Pac 12. I moved BC back into the Big East just so I could localize some of the games a bit more and build up a stronger local recruiting base(poaching kids from New Jersey and Pennsylvania like nobodies business, basically).

Planning on doing some major conference restructuring in the off-season. I'll probably bring Maryland into the fold(that's actually being thrown around in real life, so it's not out of nowhere) in the Big East and then bump TCU back out.


...but I just can't get into the gameplay right now. Specifically the passing game. I open the game trying to incorporate guys on the outside, but I end up just throwing posts to the slot receiver and tight ends over and over again because it works so much better. Hopefully the upcoming patch will fix some of that, but I highly doubt it. I'll just have to keep looking out for the right set of sliders.

Finished recruiting for the regular season. Got 4 more commitments, 8 in total. A really low number, but it's starting to take shape, not as bad as I thought it would turn out. I'm going to land some good guys yet. I dont have the multiple 5 star signees that a couple of you power houses have, but I got some decent guys. If Jeffery, Taylor, and Gilmore all come back...I should be solid. haha. I just really need Alshon and Gilmore back. I have no size at WR and the highest corner I have returning is in the low 70s, followed by a 60 something. Pretty piss poor depth.

Hopefully we can actually finish this season off. :/ I still really want to know what Shane's #1 prospect is. Like I said before, that's the worst #1 player in the nation I've ever seen. What is he, a severly undersized FB? lol. He's not good at anything and he's like 205.
