Damn that sucks. Jenkins was sucha good player whenever he was on the field. Too bad his body was made of glass and he could never stay fully healthy.

A walking (or limping/rolling) case study for why you shouldn't play football at 360+ lbs. He could've been the best DT/NT in the league.

The OP and the first 2 comments are pretty much everything this thread has to say.

What about Ted Washington? He played for 15+ years.

I suppose he and Sam Adams are the exceptions to the rule. Not many like them.

Yeah...he was a beast there. Should've finished his career there. But there's always that money staring at you. Great NFL player. Not HOF great, but honorable mention at least.

At least he can work on losing weight.

Sad to hear, talk about a beast of a NT, even the past 2 years had he been able to stay healthy he was going to be able to play at a very high level. Scary to think how good that Jets D could have been. Since it's his retirement thread, anyone want to find that gif video of him tossing a Center like a rag doll after the snap?

When healthy, Jenkins was a dominant force in the middle of the defense. It's just a shame he was always hurt.

Meh... He was off balance. I hope Jenkins could knock a smaller man leftwards who is already leaning that way and on one foot.

Off balance? Yea, even though Jenkins was lined up directly in front of him and ran straight at him. He wasn't leaning one direction, or off balance. Why would he be leaning anywhere 1 second after the ball was snapped and his man was straight in front of him?

Didn't look off balance to me. Looked like Kris Jenkins just went Juggernaut on him plain and simple.

looks like he faked a swim move then just abused him with his left
