obvioulsy it depends on the state of your starting pitching, but it seems to me taht u would be getting ripped of in both trades

yeah, that was what I was thinking. I have a very strong pitching staff, but I like to have a lot of pitching. My final offer to him was Tex and ARod for Beltran and Halladay, and he rejected that. I think I am going to cut of trade talks with him and try and pursue trades with different teams.

Okay, I just got this trade offer from him...

ARod, Tex, and Francoeur for Beltran and Halladay... I still think it is overpaying.

You should have posted your team with the trade....

Like do you have an good backup 3B or 1B? Do you have a weak OF to try and upgrade. Beltran plays for one of the best offenses and the Mets heart of the order could be the best in baseball. Halladay said he's going to try and be a ground ball pitcher...Try to not blow it by people but let them put it in play. If that is true you could consider Roy to be the next chein-ming wang with good wins and hopefully good era....k's and whip will struggle.

ESPN projected stats:
Carlos Beltran .285avg, 36-109, 33 steals, 120 runs.
Mark Teixeira .288avg, 39-126, 3steal, 103runs.
A-Rod .300 40-124, 19steals, 119 runs.
Roy Halladay 18-7, 146k's 3.15era 1.10whip
Erik Benard 15-10 184k's 3.66era 1.24whip

Those are all speculation, but Benard is not bad and A-rod will bring the same fantasy value he always does (doesn't matter if yank fans hate him, fantasy owners should love him) and Teix could break out like Howard did at any time considering his ballpark...

Unless you need the OF badly and have good alternatives to the corners, I wouldn't...That goes in to the mold that you should have posted your team to people can have more insight.
