So far, they've only come to terms with Brian Lainhart (which is a pretty damn good start).

But I'd imagine they'd go after Bullock in ATL given the massive amount of cap room they have to play with. And please, please, please...Sign Willie Colon from us.

Sadly Colon would be a upgrade for us.

Would not be surprised if Lainhart ended up making the team. Thought the Kid was a sleeper and had a chance to be drafted plus the fact is the safety situation here is a mess.

Me too. Lainhart took a fall in the draft boards because of durability issues, but he's a top notch safety. Great signing. Is Brown starting to wise up?

No Mike Brown will never wise up. It could be that Brown's Kids are getting more control of the team and they are not retards like their father. Lainhart signed here because he grew up in Cincinnati and was a Bengals/Cowboys Fan. Plus i think Lainhart realizes that the all the Safeties here are pretty much terrible and prolly end up with some major playing time here his 1st year.

This will sound like a lie since it's after the fact, but simply put Joseph wasn't the best cornerback on our team. While it should have been a priority to resign him, I don't think we'll miss him as much as non-Bengals fans think. If we don't resign Leon Hall next year, then I'll be mad.

I think it comes down to he just probably didn't want to be here anymore. Who blames him? I don't. We are not exactly the prime destination for any player.

From what i have heard about it is that he wants like 8 million a year and the Bengals are not willing to pay that to him. If he decrease the price i could see the Bengals going back after him.

Bengals sign Donte Whitner to 2 year Deal. Major Upgrade over what we had at Safety. Will start at SS opposite Reggie Nelson or Chris Crocker.

Its a huge upgrade over any safeties on the roster for sure. Hopefully he will not flop or show signs of aging.

NVM about Whitner signing he sign with 49ers instead. Guess the Bengals will have to trade for Mays if they want a safety.

Whitner reported on his own twitter he had signed a two year deal with the bengals. Wonder how that got messed up?

The rumor out of San Fran is that Taylor Mays is available. I wouldn't be totally against picking him as an in the box enforcer type of safety. He could be the younger and bigger version of Roy Williams. I know he cant cover sand if he was lost in the desert but with the AFC North being such a run first division I think he could serve a purpose. Call me crazy but i think he is worth a late round pick on the trade market.
