Started as a season prediction and wound up as a 2012 mock.
Quick comments. Tannehill = Flaccoesque. Worthy overrated imo. Not sold on Landry Jones yet. Robert Golden's a beast imo and ready to break out. Same goes for Sanu. Floyd, overrated and now with massive off field baggage. Again only 1 first round draftable RB.

I like the pick of Jared Crick to the Rams, but I DON'T like you having them pick at 12....

Not sure if Paige-Moss is big enough for New England, but I would love some kind of outside linebacker. I don't know if he's who they would target in that situation, though. Seems like a long shot. Ryan Broyles would be a good fit as a replacement for Deion Branch.

Don't understand the Kenny Tate pick. You list OLB and SS as possible positions for him but we just signed Clint Session and Dawan Landry. CB is a sure-fire need for next year and DE and WR could also be big needs depending on how they play out in 2011.

^Missed those. And I guess the Jags are not heading for a 34 defense any longer with that Session signing. I suppose it's only possible if they lose faith in Prosinski or Landry yucks it up.

Kalil does not fit any where on this team. He is not a RT and Whitworth is settled into LT. If they are picking in the top 3 they prolly take a QB because that means Dalton failed to show anything worth keeping him as the starter.

If Monte Te'o somehow slipped pick #27, I would not only be thrilled, I would run naked through the streets wearing just a Notre Dame sombrero.

Tannehill sucked the only game I watched of him. Considering he has been a wide receiver the better part of his career I am not sure how you can consider him a 1st round guy.

What makes you unsure of Landry Jones?

I think the Patriots would be better served letting Price and Tate try to replace Deion Branch. With that being said, I have no idea who should be drafted with that pick if the board were to fall this way.

If Tate and/or Price show something, I could see a safety as well. The Patriots have a lot of quality depth, but if he plays like he did last year I don't expect Brandon Meriweather to be in town for long. New England would likely look for someone more willing to play inside of the scheme as opposed to another freelancer.

Y'know I've taken a look back at Jones and Barkley and I can't see a huge difference between the two as far as where they would go. Barkley is stronger and more athletic but I'm not sure his arm is any better. Jones looks like a system/Colt McCoy guy at times but has surprising zip and impressive touch and accuracy. If the Shanahans have an opportunity to take either, I think I'm going Landry Jones for them.

Tannehill is raw talent. He's a good story. He took over for the stumbling Johnson and looked like he'd been playing QB all along for the Aggies. He's tough, athletic, seemingly smart and has a cannon. If he comes through with a strong season I think he a first round guy.

teo and timmons would be amazing in the middle....teo, timmons, woodley, and harrison would be the best LBs in the league and it wouldnt even be close

If the Chiefs were picking in the 5-10 range, I could see them going after a QB because that would mean in three years, Cassell would have had one good year (2010) and only because of Charlie Weis. But this draft has them picking 19th, almost in the playoffs. For that to happen, Cassell would probably have to play pretty well, at least not poorly enough to be replaced.

Okay. If Cassel struggles again (09) with Weis gone or even just doesn't play as well as last season he could be looked at as the weak link to an up and coming team. If guys with superior arm strength and potential like Tannehill or Lindley have great collegiate years it might be hard for Pioli/Haley to hang with what they have-Cassel-Stanzi. Plus, I was not a fan of Stanzi as a prospect at all-how's he doing thus far?

i can completely see Jerry taking T. Richardson since he wanted to move up for Ingram, but I'm really hoping he addresses the defense.
