Ok so i was looking around, and i found this guy. He plays OLB in Georgia's 34 D and is simply, as the title says, a freak...

In 2010's preseason workout numbers, the man had just simply ridiculous numbers.

From the site below, here are Cornelius Washington's workout numbers from last year (at the time he was 6'4" 245)

Broad Jump: 9'9"
Vertical Jump: 38"
40 Yard Dash: 4.29s
Bench Reps (225): 26x
No Short Shuttle Recorded, Georgia didn't test the 3 Cone Drill.

These numbers are pretty ridiculous. And just to show how realistic the numbers are, The combine numbers for Houston were actually better than they were here, just from a year difference, though Dent's numbers from Georgia's pro day were just slightly worse than the once recorded below.

Since then Washington is up from 245 to 269, which is a big jump, but even if the timing is say, .1 to .2 off, and he adds weight which slows him down, he's still running a 4.4 to 4.5 which is CRAZY for a pass rush LB. He's been a guy who's good, but has yet to put it together, so if he can put up some good numbers this year, he can be a REALLY high draft pick.

Wow those are some eye-catching numbers if they are even close to accurate. Heck he could run a 4.6 and it still would be amazing.

He also has the best first name in existence. :D

I'll start buying into him when he stops being invisible on Saturdays. This will be his redshirt junior year, so he still has time to 'break out', but so far he's yet to even flash much.

I'm always suspicious of DEs/LBs purported to have sub 4.4. speed who struggle to dominate in college.

Can't wait for SEC football to start again!!!

Wasn't there a Chappelle character named Cornelius Washington?

I know that it looks pretty fake, but its not just that number that is impressive. Its the other numbers as well. A 38" vert is incredible for a 250 lb OLB, and that and 26 bench reps. And those tests are almost impossible to make look better then they are. So that proves he's a freak just at that. And like i said, the 40 time might not be accurate, but its usually about a .1-.2 difference between an official time vs. the pro day/offseason workout 40 times, and add in a little more for weight, and he's still in that 4.4 to 4.5 range. But we'll see.

The glory of Chappelle aside, these numbers are completely insane.

I was going to come in and point out that Washington is having a good season so far. I wake this morning to news he's been arrested for DUI and speeding. Pretty foolish move for a guy who could potentially declare and get drafted in April, if he builds off his hot start.

His physical attributes are off the charts. But until the last 2 games he hadn't been producitive. He finally shows up the last 2 games and going into a huge game he gets a DUI. Anyway, here's an excerpt from an article from his senior year in high school talking about his performance at the state track meet:

Only four people ran faster at the state AAA track meet, but that still wasn't good enough for Cornelius Washington.

He wanted to win.

No matter that the 6'5", 230 pound Burke County High School junior football standout outsized most of his competitors in the 100 meters by about half a foot and 50 pounds- he was used to crossing that finish line first.

"His comment was that it makes him mad, because he knew that he could have won it," Coach Purvis Dukes said after the meet. Washington knows that he was capable of beating the 10.742 seconds that won the event, because the future Georgia Bulldog was clocked at 10.47 earlier this season.

He ran the event in 11.019 seconds at the state meet last week.

I have a hard time believing Cordy Glenn will run a 4.81.

Cornelius will miss atleast the next 2 games because of a DUI he got after this weeks win. Also dont believe UGA 40 times.
